Now, onto the items!

Sisley Paris So Intense Mascara - .05 oz Value $12.40

sisley-beauty-subscription-november-2016-0013

I was a little skeptical when I first saw this mascara brush - it seemed lacking! But, good news! The short brush allowed me to get very close to the lash line, and the brush still provided excellent coverage and lash separation. In general, I am very impressed with the volume and length this formula provides!

Sisley Instant Perfect - 5 ml Value $18

This primer formula is impressive. It hydrates and mattifies skin, plus it gave my skin a smooth, almost powder finish. (And a little goes a long way with primers, so this sample should last for at least a week.)

Sisley Eau du Sur Moisturizing Perfumed Body Cream - 8ml Value $6.90

I liked the moisturizing formula of this body cream, but the scent wasn't for me. It's described as citrusy and floral, but it read as powdery to me.

sisley-beauty-subscription-november-2016-0015

Sisley Express Flower Gel - 10 ml Value $23

This is a gel mask that only takes 3 minutes! And it's one of those moisturizing masks that you can leave on and let it absorb into your skin (just dab off the excess). This was hydrating and perfect for winter dry skin weather! (And this sample is good for at least 2 uses!)

sisley-beauty-subscription-november-2016-0017

Sisley Intensive Firming Bust Compound - 8 ml Value $45.60

This is some pricey Décolleté cream! It's a lightweight gel that absorbed quickly and the scent wasn't too heavy, either. (I just wish it was in a tube and not a foil sample packet so it would be easier to get more uses out of this expensive sample!)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $105! That's amazing for a $10 box! Of course, some of these samples are pretty small, but it's still a great way to try out products before buying full-size, or just to have a luxe skin care treat! And at least 3 of the samples are resealable! (Plus I loved getting a mascara sample this month - it was a nice addition to a box that is skincare focused.)

This box is becoming worse and worse..now they just give 2 small tubes and 3 foil packets(which I can get all of them for free at the Neiman Marcus counter)…I had a bottle of toner leaked and customer service never bothered to do anything about it.

I’m confused. The review says $10. a month but the site says 3 months for $35.. Is this a deal on here?

It is $10 a month if you purchase 6 months and $8.33 per month if you purchase a year. I purchased the year and it charged me the full $100 up front. I imagine it will do the same for the 6 months as well.

I hate foil packets so I transfer the product to empty sample containers I saved. My current go-to leave-in-conditioner actually came from a foil sample I got this summer. I dumped it into a container with a pump and it’s still as good as new!

This is honestly one of the best boxes out there. I wish more ultra-luxe brands did this.

I completely agree…I wish more ultra-luxe brands did their own boxes. I really enjoy trying these products and am more likely to purchase them if I’ve had a chance to try them. It’s hard for me to purchase a $200 eye cream without trying it, even if it gets great reviews. So far, I will be purchasing the Sisley eye cream and the Instant Perfect. The masks get great reviews but I don’t see that results are any better than less expensive ones, IMO. I think this box probably appeals to women 30+. I’m 52 and it’s my favorite sub but I’m sure my 19 yr old niece prefers her IPSY.

Love this box! I’ve signed up for 3 of these boxes per month. The eye creams are the best I’ve ever used and I’ve tried plenty. I get several other subs and end up giving away lots of the products but I never give away my Sisley products. I agree the samples are tiny. I cut the tubes open after I’ve squeezed all I can out. Then I store it in a ziploc bag. Most samples last a week or more.

This stuff is amazing! I tried one box and now I’m hooked!

$45 for a decollette foil packet?! For that price, it oughtta bump me up a cup size or firm these puppies up so I don’t need to wear a bra! Hahaha! 😀

On a more serious note, I never thought I’d be tempted to buy a $10/mo box of 5 tiny samples… But I can totally see it now. Their products sound great, and if you occasionally get something like a mascara or other cosmetic sample that would provide SEVERAL uses instead of 1-3… That’s a deal for such high-end products.

Liz,
Have you been so impressed with any of the samples that you ordered it?

Regarding the foil packets, which I also dislike, someone from the Chanel counter gave me a tip that works nicely. Use a pin to poke a little hole in the packet instead it tearing it open. Then you can squeeze the product out and it will past longer because it won’t dry out as quickly. I try to do it towards a corner so I can work the last bit in the packet towards one spot.

Luna

Just another idea… I cut the corner off the packet, then squeeze the contents into a tiny sample container I’ve received previously (like into a sample container from Sephora or someplace else). This works pretty well for me. 🙂

Great tip! Thank you 😊!

Amy

Ahhhh‼️ Just tried it. Thanks for the tip, this stuff is NOT to be wasted😀

I wish I shared it sooner… I’m glad it worked for you!

Amy

Only bad thing is their products are so amazing that i am disappointed in almost every other skincare item in other subs. It is a completely different league. Unbelievable!

Luna

Isn’t that amazing how a packet sample can be a $45 value?!? I really want to ask if the effects of more firming was achieved with that little sample, but I think that’s too personal, so I’ll ask….

Liz, was that a one time use sample? If not, how many uses do you think you could get out of that decollete sample?

I can’t wait until January when I start to subscribe to this box! 🙂

Luna…not much effects, I used all of the samples they sent (I bought 6 months) and it’s all very gentle stuff ( honestly, I don’t feel any difference between this and Olay) Both don’t really improve fine lines (only the moment you put it on because skin is hydrated).

I am excited for this box. I love this brand already 🙂 Little fabulous samples are fine with me!
