The bag came with this information card, which included directions for each product (many of the labels did not have much English so this was helpful) as well as the products’ intended effects.

Missha Liquid Sharp Black Liquid Eyeliner (full size) – Value $6

You will usually get one full-size makeup item in TutiiBag. This month it is a liquid eyeliner. This is a very dark black and stays put, even on my oily eyelids. (You can remove it with dual phase makeup remover, though.)

Welcos Aloe Vera Moisture Real Soothing Gel 98% (full size, 150 g) – Value $4.62

Aloe is wonderful for moisturization and also soothing burned/sunburned skin. If you are a regular user of aloe, it may be worthwhile to switch to a Korean brand like this – apparently, a lot of U.S. drugstore “aloe” products don’t actually contain any aloe!

Here is a swatch of the eyeliner. Once it dried it was difficult to remove!

Banila Co. Tea Party Mask (oolong tea, brightening) – Value $5.90

Oolong tea is the key ingredient here; it undergoes a different sort of processing from what green or black tea undergoes, and sometimes it comes from different tea cultivars as well. Like either green or black tea, though, it is full of antioxidants. It’s a little hard to assess brightening after only one use, but over time, I can see how the antioxidants would help reduce sun damage, which could have a brightening effect. This was moisturizing right away, though, I thought!

Mamonde Extra Moisture Cream (10 mL) – Value $4.58

This has pretty standard moisturizer ingredients as well as hyaluronic acid (a carbohydrate polymer that attracts water molecules and may have plumping effects) and some ceramides (waxy lipid molecules that help with skin moisture as well). It is so dry here right now and this has been working well, plus it is not clogging my pores.

Mamonde First Energy Essence (25 mL) – Value $3.78

Essence is something I got into using thanks to Korean beauty subscriptions. It is also one of the few skincare products I still have to buy, so samples are always appreciated. This has niacinamide, which is a common skin-brightening ingredient, plus a Lactobacillus fermentation extract and adenosine, which may help with synthesis of collagen and elastin. This absorbed quickly and didn’t leave a sticky residue, plus it didn’t interfere with makeup application.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $24.88 for the November 2016 Miss Tutii TutiiBag. Of course, prices are all over the place for K-beauty products, but I do feel that is comfortably above the cost of the box, even if there is some variation in the prices of individual items. I had fun trying all the items and really liked the focus this month on moisturizing dry winter skin.

This was an ok bag. I didn’t really like the aloe as the main item in the bag. I can get the same thing at the dollar store. The eyeliner is nice but i have so many liquid liners already. I received a green tea mask. I really love the Mamonde essence and moisturizer. They are large samples that will last a long time and work well with the toner i got in a previous tutti bag.

A lot of the stuff sold in this country as “aloe” really doesn’t have any aloe in it at all (I put a link above, you should definitely read it if this is a type of product you buy).
