An info card was included listing each item in the box. December’s theme which was Let It Snow!

Bunny Slopes by Claudia Rueda – Value $12.69 on Amazon (retail price $15.99)

Bunny Slopes is one of the new interactive books that have become so popular and are a hit at library story hours just as much as side-by-side sharing at home. The bunny talks to the reader and asks you to shake the book to make snow, tap the book to pack down the snow, tilt the book to help him ski faster downhill and even dedicates it to the reader for all their help. The minimalist color palette is soothing and the story gave both of my children some belly laughs. Two thumbs up from our family for sure!

Insta-Snow Powder – Value $3.27

This powder, when mixed with a small amount of water, instantly puffs up into a snow-like substance. It feels light, fluffy and slippery.

Do You Want to Build a Snowman? Kit – Value $4.98

What a cute kit! This little container had everything we needed to build a small snowman. White moldable foam, twig arms, a carrot nose, eyes and a mouth. We made it a couple of days ago and it still looks great. My son loved this kit. I think I may need to send some down to our friends in Florida.

Layered Snowflake Craft Kit – Value $1.67

I was glad to see an ornament craft that we could put on the Christmas tree and save for years to come. This beautiful snowflake craft was easy to put together and came with all the necessary supplies. The one I found on Oriental Trading is different colors but otherwise looks the same.

Moonstruck Mayan Hot Cocoa – Value $2.00

This hot cocoa mix contains a bit of almond and cinnamon for a truly unique flavor. It was creamy and delicious. I think I may need to purchase the full-size tin. Moonstruck is an artisanal chocolate company and everything on their website looks amazing!

Bunny Socks – Value $7.00?

I love all things bunny related and these adorable gray socks are no exception! They are soft, whimsical and fit well.

Verdict: This is one of our favorite LitJoy Crates to date. All three snow-related crafts/activities were low-effort and high-impact. The book was fabulous and I loved the hot cocoa and socks too. It was a complete home run this month. The value was about $32 this month which I’ve come to expect with this subscription. We love seeing this blue box arrive in the mail!
