Wantable Style Edit has been a major player in the subscription styling service market for over a year now, and they just started offering plus sizes at the end of July. I was thrilled to get the chance to try them out! Wantable Style Edit is one of several different subscription boxes offered by Wantable, including Wantable Intimates, Accessories, Fitness, and Makeup.

When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size, and style preferences. Wantable uses a great model of indicating what you love, what you like and what you dislike, for all their subscriptions! They send you more of what you love, and never what you dislike. These are the preferences I selected. I can go back and change them at any time.

Below my preferences is a note from my stylist, Kiley. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.

This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $253. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That brings the total down to $182.40 for a discount of $70.60. That's a deep discount!

Faux Wrap Maxi by Emerald - Cost to Keep $49

This is the second maxi dress I have tried from Emerald, and the second one I've completely loved. It looks great! I think the black and white really works somehow!

Scoop Back Knit Top by Umgee - Cost to Keep $48

I don't feel like this tunic is very flattering on me at all, and I don't really understand why it's called a scoop back top. The back is pretty ordinary, honestly. I like the color, but otherwise, this top is a miss for me.

Jeggings by Kensie - Cost to Keep $68

I have some jeans from Kensie (also from my Wantable Style Edit) that fit me like a glove and that I've been wearing nonstop since I got them, but I'm not really in love with these jeggings. They seem a little plain, and they don't feel as great as I would like them to. I think I am also good on jeggings at the moment.

Drape Front Cardigan by Emerald - Cost to Keep $39

I completely love this cardigan! I don't have anything like it, and the length makes it extra versatile. It's also super soft. I think I will get loads of use out of this!

Floral Print Keyhole Dress by Umgee - Cost to Keep $49

I have mixed feeling about this dress. I love the keyhole, and I love the pattern, but wow. That's a lot of floral pattern. I feel a little like a sofa in this.

This month, subscribers received a free tote as a bonus item! Fun!

Verdict: I am really loving my Wantable Style Edit so far! I think this month I received a lot of items I should have liked more than I actually did once I tried everything on. I completely love the dress and the cardigan! The top and jeggings were a miss, and I'm still not sure about the floral dress, but trying everything on is always a lot of fun. I honestly feel like Wantable has done a fabulous job so far of choosing items that I really like and will get a lot of use out of. This is such a fun subscription!

What do you think of Wantable Style Edit? What did you receive in your box this month?

Love that maxi dress – looks great on you Anna! I’ve just started getting the Wantable Accessories box, they don’t ship the Style Edit to Australia – damn it!!!

My very first thought: Oh, that dress looks cute on you.

You, in the first dress is beautiful.

The maxi dress and cardigan and both beautiful on you!! I’d return the other one – you’ve gotten so many great pieces in other boxes so no reason to keep anything that’s not a complete winner!!

I love the faux maxi dress and draped cardigan on you! If you can keep them – go for it! I am actually super jealous right now. 😉

And I am gathering that this isn’t an issue for you Anna (I don’t think you have really little kids) but for any breastfeeding mamas that cardigan is a great example of everyday clothes you can use to breastfeed in without spending money on breastfeeding specific clothes that don’t work when you no longer are breastfeeding.

I really love that maxi. And the cardigan. I need them in my closet asap.

I love that maxi. I recited the floral dress last month and was slightly iffy in it, b/c of the floral pattern being so much. But I got some cranberry leggings and a swinging cardigan in the same color to balance it out and I really like that combo. It has a nice weight and it washes nice. But that is just me 🙂

Anna, that floral “thing” is enormous on you! You do have hands, right? But I laughed at the sofa comment. I always ask “Do I look like a mattress in this?” The pink top is way too large also. The dress looks great on you and the cardigan does seem versatile.

Sigh…your reviews have roped me in. I signed up with the waived styling fee deal, so I figure at least I will try it. I put this draped cardigan on my wish list, hope I get it!
