  1. Thank you everyone

  2. I’ve never tried Julep polish what are some of your thoughts? Does it chip?

    • It’s my favorite polish hands down – my only complaint is that I wish they were a little more “daring” with their colors? Often times when I look at my Julep collection I find that colors are very similar or almost the same, but with different names. I also think they have very basic colors and finishes, but they have been stepping up their game with their holos and confetti top coats.

To answer your question – I change my polish every 3-4 days so it’s hard to say, but I can say during that time I’m not experiencing any chips.

    • I never liked their polish. Chips on the second day, even with both base and top coats. Usually polish last four days on me.

    • Julep’s polishes tend to chip fast on me (even faster than my Sinful Colors polishes I get for $1.99 at the drugstore), but I really do like the variety of colors and finishes they offer, so I’ll always continue to use their polishes and take advantage of any mystery boxes (I may even re-subscribe next year!). 🙂 But, like Amber P. mentioned, they do have a lot of similar colors where the only way I can tell them apart is by their name.

    • Hi there! I’ve actually never had any issues with Julep’s polishing chipping on the first or second day, If I apply it Sunday night, it will not chip until late Thursday or Friday for me. I have found that when my nails are healthy and the tips or white part isn’t dry and brittle, my nail polish lasts a lot longer. I make it a point to keep my nails healthy as a result. I do agree with others that a lot of the polishes are very similar.

    • I always had nail polishes chip on the first or second day until I tried julep. I can go for 6, maybe 7 days. I don’t know if it’s a body chemistry thing or not but I looooove me some julep!

      • I subscribed to this three months ago, and I really like their makeup and skincare items. I just tried a polish I was sent because I normally get mani/pedis so I use the salons polishes, and I can’t believe how horrible it applied. I’m hoping that it was an isolated issue with the free one they sent me, but it went on thick like glue and wouldn’t spread. I eventually just had to leave it on thick so that it wouldn’t smudge during a second stroke over my nail. The drying time took forever because I had to leave it on so thick. I saw that they sell a polish thinner do you all know if that works? I think it’s strange that the formula of the product is so bad that I would have to put a thinner in a brand new polish. I appreciate any advice because I would like to keep this sub because I like their other products. I just think I’m gonna run out of things I want if the polishes don’t work for me considering that is their speciality and main items.

  3. Julep for the past two years has had an AMAZING Black Friday sale and I would predict (if they follow their pattern), most, if not all, of these items will be 50% off their current listed price during that sale.

I simply cannot wait! 22 days!

    • Thanks for the info! I’ll keep an eye out. 🙂 I’m no longer a subscriber, but I just got an email that my Maven status has been reinstated for the month of November (I still won’t get a monthly box, but it sounds like I’ll still get the perks as if I only suspended my account). That was a nice surprise!

      • I am a former Maven, as well, but I don’t see my 20% off at checkout, as promised…

        • Oh no! Was there a code you were supposed to use? Or, maybe certain items are excluded. I read the fine print in my email, and it looks like you can’t combine the Maven discount on sale items. But other than that, it looks like everything else is eligible.
