Ugh I bought it–right after the “Cult Classics” one, too. All that gold got me–I’ve been craving a little gold after 15+ years of chrome everything. And, that photo frame feels a little 80s to me which–I’ll admit it–holds some appeal.

Man, I’ve got to stop spending money on this stuff…but I have FOMO and points to spend and somehow I keep finding ways to justify it! And, this purchase put me into ACES territory so…it’s perfectly reasonable, right?

If this is their holiday LE, I’m disappointed. Birchbox usually releases them right around now, but nothing about this says holiday to me – except that there’s a lot of gold. I do really like the frame and the mirror is beautiful, but I wish I knew if it has a magnifying side. That’s essential to me in a hand mirror.

they show an opening of the box on an instagram story and they say it’s 2 sided magnifying

Oh yay! Thank you for letting me know! 🙂

I doubt it is based on the last 4 years anyway. They’re generally significantly higher priced and include more products. They released LE boxes last year (or the year before; too many subs over the last 4 years to remember) as late as the end of the first week of Dec. So there is most likely an actual holiday LE yet to come.

I just double-checked and MSA posted their announcements of the Birchbox holiday LEs on Nov 7 (2013’s Snow Day), November 2 (2014’s A Vanity Affair and Home Sweet Homespun), Nov 4 (2015’s Luxe List), and a review on Nov 20 (2016’s The Charmed Life). Way back in 2012, I found an announcement on Nov 16 (a “limited home box”) and Nov 21 (Precious Metals), but that was four years ago.

So much as I want to believe there’s something better coming, I kinda doubt it. 🙁

I got one as soon as I got the email. Finally, a LE box with some new items (yes, some repeats, but ones I’ll be happy to have more of) and at a good price! The box is gorgeous. The last 2 curated boxes have looked great, if they keep it up, I might come back.

the price is right but i see like three repeat offenders from other LE boxes. come on birchbox you can do better.

Yeah, tempted but doubt I’ll purchase.

I have Umbra items on my wishlist for black Friday and the hand cream would make a nice gift. I can use or gift a candle. I would swap the other items, though. I am tempted, but I will likely wait to see if a better coupon comes out.

Hi Liz, it says $60 in the body but “only $45” on the picture.

The link and the pic say the cost is $45 not $60 just FYI (even better)! Definitely a cute set!

Oops – I was trying to post this one a little too quickly! 🙂 Just updated the price to $45. Thanks!

I feel like this is a perfect gift for my sister. She just moved and needs to perk up her vanity!
I can vouch for how amazing the fragrances are from Library of Flowers. Linden is a beautiful scent.

Dang it – I should have waited until you posted about it – then I could have used HELLO to save 10%… oh well I guess. I’m sure there’s other things I’ll “need” and can use that promo code 🙂

looks like a pretty good box, only thing I probably won’t use is the lip stuff, and that’s only bc the color is too bold for me.
