Each box normally comes with a card detailing the items included with pictures. My box was missing the card this month, so we’re going straight to the items!

Danielle Creations Silky Clean Facial Brush – FULL SIZE! Value $16

I received a similar brush in the August Beauty Box 5, and this one is equally soft!

It’s designed to be used as an alternative to a Clarisonic for gently exfoliating with your facial cleanser. I absolutely love how this feels on my skin. I’ve used it on dry skin, too – love it!

Pangea Organics Facial Cream – Moroccan Argan with Willow & Rosemary – 1 oz Value $20

This facial cream is so thin it is almost a liquid, and it absorbs almost instantly. If you are looking for a lightweight moisturizer – this is it! Plus I like the natural scent, too!

Ouidad Botanical Boost Curl Energizing and Refreshing Spray – 2.5 oz Value $5.90

This spray is a lightweight detangler. It has a light, fresh, scent, and the formula is oil-free, so it didn’t weigh my hair down or make it look greasy at all.

Dermarche Labs BioREWIND PM – 3 ml Value $12.50

This is one of my favorite products in the box – I just wish the sample was larger! It’s designed to help with uneven skin tone and wrinkles, and the formula is free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, etc. It absorbed quickly and made my skin feel so soft. (And it gets excellent reviews on Sephora.)

Phytomer Pionniere XMF White – Skin Translucency Cream – 3ml Value $14.80

This cream is designed to fight dark spots and wrinkles. It is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and is lightly fragranced. I liked this formula a lot – but the sample is TINY. It’s pretty much a one-time-use tube.

NuFACE Prep-N-Glow Cloth – Value $1

This is not a typical makeup remover cloth! One side is for cleansing and the other side has micro-dots for exfoliating. It did an excellent job of removing my makeup, and it left my skin hydrated, too.

Supersmile Professional Whitening Floss – Sample Value $2?

This floss sample is perfect for travel, and it’s nice and minty, too. No visible whitening difference for me, though!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Fantasy 3-in-1 Eyeshadow FULL SIZE? Value $19

(BeautyFix mentioned this product was full size, but the packaging is different than the same product on the Manna Kadar site. So it may be either different packaging, and/or a different size as well.)

This pressed powder is richly pigmented and has a lovely copper shimmer. (Manna Kadar also suggests using this as a highlighter and/or bronzer.)

Here it is swatched:

Manna Kadar products have been a little over-exposed in subscription boxes lately, but at least the formulas are great!

Avene Soothing Moisture Mask – FULL SIZE! Value $26

I put this on my skin and immediately thought, “Ooo this is soothing and hydrating!” And then I realized that’s pretty much the exact name of the mask! (So, they are good at naming products!)

For this mask, you put it on for 10-15 minutes, then wipe away any excess product. It left my skin super moisturized, and I appreciate that it was gentle on my skin as well.

Tocca Beauty Eau de Parfum – Stella – 1.5 ml Value $2.50

This scent is described as having notes of Bitter Orange, Blood Orange, Watery Accord, White Freesia, Wild Diamond Orchids, Spicy Lily, Sheer Musk, Sandalwood.

As with most perfumes, this one wasn’t for me!

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray – 5 ml Value $2

This is a spray for your pillow and sheets! It’s made with Lavender, Camomile, and Vetivert scents, and I really like the blend. (I have a lot of lavender scented oils thanks to subscription boxes, so it’s nice to have something that’s a little different.)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $122! I’m always so impressed with this subscription. They always deliver on quality skincare products, and there’s usually a beauty tool or makeup product in the box to round it out.

What do you think of the November 2016 Beauty Fix box? What are your favorite items this month?

  1. Nice box.

Love the pillow spray–much needed over the past couple of days.

  2. Great value again, Beautyfix! I got a new credit card, so I didn’t receive this box. I’m not super disappointed about not receiving this month’s, but I definitely want next month’s box. I feel like it’ll be good! 😉

  3. I love DermStore and BeautyFix! Their customer service is the BEST! Their reps are NICE and helpful, and actually sound sincere. I also received a broken shadow. I called and cancelled my subscription because I’m drowning in beauty samples – enough for 3 faces for the next year. I’m going through radical changes from hormones – or lack of – and it’s been a blessing to try small sizes and find new products. However, I like to actually be able to try them and these samples are SO small this month. I gave the rep nice but constructive feedback and she said they like to hear from their subscribers and make changes accordingly. I’d encourage everyone to send feedback and request for items you’d like to receive in future boxes. Perhaps if enough of us do that, they’ll create a survey to capture feedback regularly. Not sure why they don’t do that already if they value customer insight.
I will be watching for Black Friday deal as well as future spoilers as this will be the one beauty box I return to. Lol, it may be next month. ?

    • My shadow came broken as well.

  4. Hands down my favorite box every month. I’ve been so excited to try the pillow spray!

    • I was so excited to get the pillowlspray, too!! I have insomnia and keep reading about this spray. I never buy it bc I think yeah right!! Now I get to try it for free! The whole box was awesome. Pine of my faves next to the vegan line medusa’s makeup!

  5. I liked this month too. I love Avene in general, always happy to see it in a box, and I really like how this mask is one you don’t have to wash off. And a moisturizing mask is great for fall/winter. It was the first thing I tried!

I’ve actually never received the manna kadar eye shadow (but don’t get me started on the 3-4 lipglosses I’ve gotten in that peach shade that is terrible on me) and this shade seems like it will work on me (looked good in my bathroom, today I’ll check it out in natural light!) so I’m happy to get that too, which makes the rest of the box gravy. Looking forward to trying out the brush too – I’m really glad they’re including a tool each month!)

  6. Love this box everytime you review it! Takes effort to not get this! Trying to hold back for Black Friday 😉

    • Does this sub usually have a Black Friday deal?

  7. The Pangaea thing is $10 not $20 it was $40 for 4 oz and $20 for 2oz. Lol I was calculating it when I got mines today lol

    • Lol nvm I got it wrong. The bottle pic threw me off

  8. Liz, how many boxes has that EXACT Manna Kadar powder been in over the last few months? I’m thinking 5, at least. I’ve gotten it in 3 boxes myself! Just curious because it is not a bad product but who needs more than one? Couldn’t they have waited a few months between boxes at least?

    • Definitely a lot! I guess they are trying to make sure ever subscription box subscriber tries Manna Kadar! 😉

    • Don’t forget about the Manna Kadar highlighter/bronzer duo that was in November’s Test Tube! That product has also been in a ton of boxes this year. Oh! And we also can’t forget about their lip glosses. I’ve received 3 of the same shade in different boxes too. Fortunately, it was a nice color, and this bronzer is wearable for me, so it could be worse.

      • Yes the bronzer duo too! They must have major overstock.

  9. I’m intrigued by this month’s box – but it’s not my favorite box ever. I’m holding off until I see Black Friday deals. I’m so curious as to what Beautyfix and others might offer as a Black Friday deal this year. Fingers crossed and trying to save that budget!!!

    • I’m hoping for a BF deal as well!

  10. Some of the samples were very small this time around like the phytomer but always nice to try. I will say that pillow spray has really worked the last 2 nights. I’m not a fan of lavender and it does have a strong smell but with 2 kids 2 and under I will try anything to get better sleep. The face brush is so soft also!

    • I received that pillow spray in a Birchbox recently, and while I slept pretty well while using it, I had some super crazy dreams! I read from some commenters in the BB post they experienced the same thing. Weird! I only used it for 3 nights, and I couldn’t do it anymore because of the weird dreams so I gave it to my brother who was very eager to test it out, since he said he wanted to have weird dreams too! ha!!

      • Omg it’s good to see I’m not the only one to have weird, vivid dreams using that spray!

      • Wow, I’m going to have to pay attention next time I use it!

  11. I just got my November box today and I absolutely love it. This is by far my favorite sub. Almost everything is new to me and I use everything in the box except the perfume. This is the best sub for skincare.

  12. I am always happy with this subscription. The value is always there and I love all the top quality skin and hair care. I finally decided to get two boxes each month and drop several other boxes. I spend much less per month and get better products.

  13. I really loved this month. My mannakadar came smashed to bits because it was not wrapped, but they are sending me a replacement.
The ouidad worked really good. I have curly hair, and for the first time, I woke up today and combed it, and i did not have to wet it. This is from using the Ouidad the day before, It stayed curly with no frizz.
I am looking forward to seeing if the rewind works. Great Box.

    • Mine did too!

      • Mine too! I sent a pic to them, hope they send me a replacement.

      • My Manna Kadar was shrink-wrapped but all smashed too (pigment everywhere but contained in the shrink-wrap. I emailed them and within an hour they had a replacement packaged and on its way to me…didn’t even have to send pictures. AMAZING customer service!
