The box came with a little magazine listing all the items included. There are 8 items total. The theme of the October box is “Kawaii Must-Have Goodies”.

Standing Cat Toothbrush

The first item is this cat toothbrush. There were four color variations available. While I have an electric toothbrush that I prefer to use, I love that this came with a brush guard. I have a couple weekend trips coming up and that makes this perfect travel toothbrush! It also has a suction cup on the bottom. That’s a nice touch because I can be a forgetful traveler and sticking to the mirror will be some added insurance to remember this when I’m packing up.

My Collage Decorative Sticky Notes

This is a nice assortment of mini sticky notes. I recently bought a new planner and can definitely use these as little event reminders or tabs. I think these would be really cute to use as envelope sticker seals!

Hello Kitty Cat Cafe Mini-Figure

The next item is from Re-Ment and is a cat cafe mini-figure. I don’t have a lot of figurines so I’m sure what to do with this yet. But it’s very cute and I like the cat cafe theme (I’m a recovering Neko Atsume addict ? )

Snoopy Riceball Shapers

There were a few times where I squealed as I pulled items out of this box and this was one of them! I haven’t attempted to use riceball shapers before but these Snoopy shapers are so cute and I can’t wait to use them! They seem pretty straightforward but, knowing myself, I have a feeling there will be a few failed attempts but I can’t wait to get to a place where every lunch I pack has a cute Snoopy riceball included!

Masquerade Design Facial Pack

The next item is a masquerade face mask. I enjoy sheet masks and I’ve seen printed ones before but hadn’t tried any before now. To be honest, printed sheet masks look a little spooky on me but overall I really liked this mask. It had a lot of product on the mask and felt really refreshing. It also had witch hazel in it, which is always a favorite ingredient of mine.

Yokai Watch Komasan Fluffy Pouch

Komasan is so cute and this fluffy pouch really is fluffy! I was pleasantly surprised at how durable and soft this felt. I haven’t decided what to use this for but I like that there’s a divider in the pouch. I could definitely see myself using this for makeup, colored pencils, or a wallet/phone combination. It’s a really cute design and a great size to throw in my purse.

Shinada Koishi-tai Plushie

There were four variations of this product as well. YumeTwins describes this as a “cute alien cupid”. This little alien is supposed to bring luck in love! I always love a cute plushie and this is definitely a cute plushie. I find that I’ve acquired quite a few cute keychains from a few different boxes and I’ve been trying to think of a nice way to display them. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

YumeTwins Original Halloween Sticker

This is the first time Yume Twins has included an original sticker and they ask if it’s something you’d like them to do in the future. I don’t have a strong desire for branded stickers so it doesn’t really add to or take away from the box for me. It’s a large sticker and the character is cute, I’m just not sure that I’ll use it.

Verdict: This was my first Yume Twins box and I was so excited to see what was in it! With the theme being “Kawaii Must-Have Goodies”, this box lived up to my expectations. It included a nice variety of items and a nice mix of practicality vs whimsy. I can definitely use each item and was really excited to see a bunch of products I hadn’t encountered before. I love to scour kawaii stores and these are the types of products that would normally catch my eye so I’m very pleased with this box. I’m excited to see what kind of items are in future Yume Twins boxes.

What do you think of the Yume Twins box?

  1. $29.99 seems so outrageous to me. Here in Vegas I can go to the swap meet and get these items for $1 or less. I do realize not everyone has that luxury but I think this company must be laughing all the way to the bank.
