Now, onto the items!

Ombre Tortoise Pendant

This pendant measures about 28 inches long, with an additional 3-inch extender.

It has three different color stacked beads that are accented by gold chain and bead fringe. My favorite part is definitely the gold fringe.

Here it is on:

This isn't a piece I would have picked out for myself, so let me know if you have any styling suggestions!

Tortoise Layered Bracelet

This is my favorite piece in the box this month. It's simultaneously both a classic and bold look, and I think it's a piece you can easily dress up or down. Here it is on the shortest setting:

(This measures about 8 inches long, or 7 inches with the shorter setting.)

Ella Amber Earrings

Considering that both of the other pieces this month are pretty bold, I appreciate that these earrings a little more muted. They still have dangle and sparkle, but the metal and stone colors blend together well.

And this month, subscribers got a bonus item:

City Color Natural Shadow Palette - Original Retail Value $8.99

(This item is no longer available for sale on the City Color website.)

This is a metallic palette - it might not be visible on the swatches, but each shade has shimmer:

The pigment is very good, but I would recommend using a primer to keep these shades in place. (And I wish this palette was paraben-free.)

Verdict: I thought that Your Bijoux Box did a great job of incorporating fall colors into this box, and as always I appreciate that the pieces compliment each other, without being a matching set.

I just got my October box. I opt for no earrings and, this month, they sent me the most amazing bracelet. I already knew I loved the necklace and bracelet in every box, so that was a huge bonus!

I love the October box! So perfect for fall. The bracelet is amazing. I love the bonus items, it’s so fun to get something extra along with beautiful jewelry. I’m wearing the fringe right now. It’s still hot where I live so it makes me feel like I’m dressed for fall even though I’m wearing a sleeveless shirt and capris.

score! I miss this sub, but I had to reel in the spending a while. I love that bracelet with the earrings. I wish I could get just those 2 for less. I was happy with this sub, it was pretty consistent. I’d recommend it if someone felt they were in a style rut & wanted to try something new. maybe I’ll do 6 months on/6 months off with them…

I love the fringe and can’t wait to get my box. I think the necklace would look great with a cream turtleneck… I’m picturing it with that, skinny black pants and leopard flats.

Thank you for that great styling idea! I think it is time to expand my wardrobe beyond jeans and various black tops 🙂

I’m thinking I can remove that fringe and maybe make the necklace wearable for me. I never got on the fringe bandwagon.

I’d remove the gold fringe first. The chain is on jump rings so either use pliers to open them or wire cutters to cut them. Careful to leave the bead fringe pieces intact. I think it would look great like that. But then if you don’t like the bead fringe either, you can remove that.

That was my intention – to remove the gold and leave the bead. The way it is constructed that would be easy. I have the tools ?

I like this box. I do wish they wouldn’t include eyeshadow as an extra in a jewelry box. (Just a thought.) I have canceled all of my make-up sub’s due to make-up overload.
