Wellness Tribe’s October theme is Fall. The items this month will help subscribers “find items to embrace fall and combat the change of the seasons.” The quote this month is great! “The trees are about to show how lovely it is to let the dead things go.”

Honey Girl Organics Super Skin Food - Value $32.49

This certified organic, all-natural cream is super rich! It has great reviews online and after trying it I can see why. It has Royal Jelly and vitamin E so I used it on my eczema it worked great. I’ve also used it as a night cream but it’s so rich, that I think it may be best for the winter (dryer skin and dryer weather). This stuff is serious- I LOVE it.

Rebloom Natural Sleep Elixir - Value $2.29

This tiny herbal tea elixir has melatonin, L-theanine, valerian, and chamomile to help with relaxing and sleep. I typically use melatonin or chamomile so I’m really excited to use this some sleepless night since it has these ingredients both plus two other well-known natural sleep aids.

Surf Sweets Spooky Spiders - Listed Value $3

We’ve already eaten this entire bag. How fun are these spiders? I put them in my daughter’s lunch crawling along her other items. They’re made with organic fruit juice and taste great. Again, another great October item!

Lotus Moon Papaya Enzyme Mask - Value $24

Per Lotus Moon website, this mask “gently breaks down protein in dead skin cells and lightly exfoliates. Improves circulation, tone, texture, and smoothness of the skin. Natural fruit enzymes of exfoliating Papaya and calming Pineapple smooth and clarify the complexion.” I haven’t used this long enough to see a change yet but other Lotus Moon products have great reviews so I have high hopes!

RX Bar Pumpkin Spice - Value $2.17

Isn’t the wrapper great? This bar is so yummy with great ingredients. I would definitely buy more of these.

Verdict: October was a great month for Wellness Tribe! The curation this month was spot on – everything matched and was fun to take out of the box. Plus, the items are top quality! Wellness Tribe is a consistently solid box with a good value and a great mix of well curated, new and interesting products. I think anyone into natural products would love this box. The value is great too with nearly $72 in products for the $45 month to month cost. Wellness Tribe is doing a wonderful job on this box!

I really liked this box. Until just now, that is, when I tried out the Lotus Moon face mask, and had a MASSIVE reaction to it…1/2 hour later my face is still bright beet red and burning up. 🙁 Kind of funny since the container states that it’s for sensitive and dry skin…hmmm. Then I read the ingredients and see that it contains salicylic acid, witch hazel, orange oil and grapefruit oil…all of which can be irritants and in my mind aren’t really what you’d use on sensitive, dry skin. (I thought Salicylic Acid was for acne…) Not sure what exactly caused the reaction but in the garbage this goes…and I’ve learned my lesson…will be spot testing future unknown products. The protein bar was super tasty, as was the witch’s brew. I found the empty wrapper to the spider candy on the kitchen table, so apparently my teenagers found them to be tasty, as well. I think I’ll go put a dab of the Honey Girl balm on my face to see if I can calm it down…:-)
