I’ll keep the full spoilers a surprise, but there will be some brand and product variations. Also, for the first time, the month and year are *supposed* to be printed on the included drawstring bag.
– Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask
– Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask
– Too Cool For School Egg Cream Mask Hydration
– Blithe Energy Yellow Citrus & Honey Splash Mask
– Blithe Soothing & Healing Green Tea Splash Mask
– bosciaTsubaki™ Splash Mask
– Primary Raw Milk Peeling Kit
– Dr. Jart+ Micro Milk Peel
Glow also makes me think of Glamglow products or highlighters. Just as long as I don’t get ANOTHER Kat Von D liquid liner, I’ll be happy 🙂

Did anyone think it was strange that there were four different versions for the October box? Haven’t there usually been only two? One for oily skin and one for dry—so I’m not sure if it will be the same for November’s box. That being said–I can’t decide if I want to cancel or not. It seems when I cancel a box that particular month is really good–October was an ok box. I’m just not sure if I want to spend $10 a month on a subscription box anymore. Subscription boxes have kind of lost their charm for me right now. I’ve been getting various ones for the past 3 years–Birchbox, Ipsy, Julep, Boxycharm, Glossybox, Allure, Scentbird, Beauty Fix, Beauty Box 5, Wal-Mart, and Target. I think I might be ready to save my money. Has anyone else come to this conclusion?

TBH I just really hope I don’t get a bronzer, b/c there were like 50 of them in the summer boxes, and I don’t use bronzer (I’m really pale, so it always looks weird).

You could possibly find something that suits you in all those shades.I have seen fair girls pull bronzer off beautifully. You just need to start sheer and build it up to some nice warmth and dimension.

Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with the ability to apply makeup flawlessly or has the time to experiment very often. Aside from the fact that every time I’ve attempted to wear bronzer it doesn’t look natural in any way, I prefer my pale skin look to my tanned look, whether natural or not. I don’t even look good with a natural tan and attempt to avoid it at all costs.
Jennifer
same here. im tan already so they match my skin tone. not dark enough

Never got an email that my October box shipped and I was about to contact them, but there it was when I got home from work, and it came around the same time it usually does every month. Just would’ve liked a notification. As for November, I’m thinking some kind of luminous or skin brightening moisturizer. That’s a pretty generic option so I’m not sure of brand ideas there. Possibly a shimmery lip topper as those (like those from Jouer) are becoming very popular. ABH Glow kits are huge right now so maybe a sample of one of the more universal tones. Glamglow would be great and is really hot right now, so that would be a reasonable mask option. Maybe a highlighting stick for eyebrows and inner corners? Or perhaps a brightening concealer. Hmm maybe I will look into brand options for those items. I didn’t feel as excited about the October box. But I feel that’s only due to the fact that there were no accurate spoilers revealed until I already had my box; and since I didn’t get a shipping email I didn’t get to track it in anticipation. So let’s pray to the glowing gods for some November spoilers!

I didn’t receive a notification for October either an I actually called cause I was wondering what was going on an the rep I spoke to told me they had a lot of trouble with there system so a bunch of subscribers didn’t receive tracking info that could also explain why a lot of people’s profiles didn’t match up with what they received too

Oh you have some great ideas! Can you curate the box for November?!? Haha, I’d for sure like all of that!

Mariah, I would love to! Lol!! That sounds like so much fun! Maybe Sephora will hire me soon? 😉

Octobers box was a bit disappointing. My favorite thing was the fragrance. I received to lip items and they were in horrendous shades. Just horrible. I need to try the masque still. Hoeing this box will be a good one

Agreed. I did not need 2 lip products! I hope November is better!

I was ready to cancel this subscription after being disappointed with October and not really wowed by the boxes from the previous five months. I’m giving it one more month and will probably cancel if I’m not impressed.

Mine said it was delivered and I never received it, they are sold out of box ending in 06 and I really wanted it, I ended up cancelling. Because I waiting a month to get it, to only not get it, I put in claim and dispute with USPS because ups had it and gave it to my local mail carrier to deliver it. =( I really wanted that box.

I have very dry skin that I have to work hard in moisturizing, exfoliating etc~ to keep it from looking dull, so dewy skin products and highlighters are what I love~! This box sounds great to me~! 🙂

I’m sorry to call this the “Obsessing over Spoilers to Items I WON’T Receive” thread 🙁
Still bummed over this month’s box which didn’t include the items I wanted…so not in a hurry for next month, either. I tweaked my profile so hopefully I start getting items I’m more interested in.
Sorry for the gripe, just had my heart broken a little ?

I think a lot of us were disappointed. I have curly hair so I got the hair oil, which was okay-ish. The Smashbox lip gloss was the WORST color. Warm pink? More like weird almond-brown. And the “selfie” one was sticky and didn’t make any difference in what my teeth looked like (do they have to be super yellow to begin with for it to work?).
The only think I enjoyed was the Drunk Elephant serum, but it’s not a sample I’d pay $10 for.
If there isn’t a Glam Glow mask in the GLOW box I’m out.

Time to cancel :o( I hate to do it, but I cannot do a whole box of highlighters, blush, and self-tanners if that’s what this seems to be. I have canceled boxes because they sent bronzer every month. I can’t even imagine a whole box of similar products.
I’ve been on the fence about Play for a bit, but I’ve always found 3 of the products work for me and it might have an aha moment. This is more like an Oh No! moment for me.

Does anyone know if you can put your sub on hold for a month? I can’t find any info on the site. I’m hesitant to cancel as I’d love some glamglow and a brightening serum, let and I don’t want to go on the wait list again. However, this theme is making me cringe.

I wish we could skip a month. I’m not thrilled with this theme either. Bad part is I believe they put you back on the wait list and sure don’t want to deal with that either. sigh. Hopefully it won’t be full of bronzers and highlighters. Some brightening cream/lotion wouldn’t be bad!

No there is no putting on hold. You cancel and have to sign back up again.

The Milk highlighter from the fake spoilers would be cool and definitely anything GlamGlow. Id like a brow highlighter. Highlighting is fun so Im just hoping I like whatever we do get. I got my October box today, the 072, and with the exception of the Smashbox liquid lipstick and the perfume, Im really unhappy with it.

A year ago I get on ipsy a glitter eyeliner
October will be my first box from sephora, I don’t know what I will have yet, but I would like makeups I have a bunch of cream, serums, masks, etc, etc.

Boxycharm would probably be your best bet for mostly makeup. Thanks to them, my makeup collection has grown a lot. They send out all full size products and a ton of palettes which is nice if you are looking to build up your makeup.

Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil… Although Sephora doesn’t carry Dermalogica products YET, I believe that they will be very soon. The November theme and video clip are just one reason why I believe this. Here are my reasons:
– The video clip of the girl rubbing her face is almost identical to the Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil “Dewy Skin DIY” video
– it’s a brand new product for Dermalogica and perfectly fits the November Play theme
– Unilever purchased the Dermalogica brand almost exactly a year ago with intentions of growing the brand. “Dermalogica has great distribution and presence globally; and I am pleased that Jane and Raymond have retained an interest in the company and will continue to work with us to grow the brand” ~ from the Unliever press release 06/2015
– introducing a new product line to sephora would be perfect timing for holiday shopping as well as Sephora’s semi-annual sale (held in April and November)
Again, this is just complete speculation, but an interesting idea nontheless

I haven’t heard anything about Sephora selling Dermalogica, and that press release didn’t specifically mention anything about it. Dermalogica products can only be sold by a certified esthetician and/or be a salon store. Since that certification is not a requirement to work in the skin care section of Sephora, I doubt that Dermalogica will be sold there any time soon.

Glam glow, benefit watts up highlighter, maybe a Nars highlighter I definitely see highlighter as a option and glam glow! I may be wrong! But….those two products, I bet are in here…which highlighter? Who knows, I’m hoping for a benefit as its my fave, but let’s be honest I’ve got TONS I’ve yet to try but I can’t see opening new when I have one I LOVE! Of course there could be a better one waiting to be tried in a box in my house! Lol! It’ll take DECADES if not centuries for me to get to it! lol!

See, now, interestingly, this theme and the description of the November box as full of “radiance boosters and glow-getters” would actually support the box that the random YouTuber, MakeUpbyShazzam or whoever, erroneously claimed was the October box. I can see the Milk makeup holographic highlighter, the Josie Maran mask, and the Becca Aqua Luminous concealer as being relevant for this theme.

For everyone here with oily skin (like me), use Cliniques matte SuperPowder foundation. It does SUCH a great job and let’s you use highlights for a dewy look that is on purpose instead of because your oils are showing through.
