The September 2016 MissionCute box included a card listing the value for each item on one side and details about the month’s nonprofit on the back.

Rainbow Washi Tape - Listed Value $8 (similar item on Amazon for $2.13)

I noticed pretty quick that I'm a sucker for rainbows, so I found these tapes really cute. Note that these are individual rolls of different colored tape, rather than a big wide roll of rainbow colors! The package says masking tape, but these definitely have the gentle tackiness of washi. They won't do a lot of heavy lifting, but these rolls are great for crafts, cards, and scrapbooking.

I'm Rabbit Stick Marker Note Tabs - Value $2.47 USD

Kawaii! Each of these tabs has a bunny head at one end and a tab with a pretty pastel pink pattern on the other. They've got a good stickiness to them, too.

Envelope Pocket Pad by Eccolo - Listed Value $10

I couldn't find a price for this product online, but the value MissionCute lists feels accurate given the quality of this velvety, faux (I think?) leather wrapped notepad.

I'm a list maker, so notepads are my best pals. I'm also the type of person whose purse is overflowing with stuff, so the cover on this notepad will protect the paper from getting accidentally smushed or crinkled!

Turquoise Silicone Watch - Listed Value $19.00 (similar item for $7.19)

I never wear a watch, but I've liked wearing this one around today. The silicone is soft and a little stretchy, and the turquoise color is really pretty. I don't think the smaller faces are functional, but I don't mind that too much (remember, though, I'm not a watch person). It's a fun piece!

Set of 10 Gel Pens and Plastic Case - Value $6.50

Seeing these pens gave me some serious back-to-school vibes! The clear case even has those old-school snap closures I remember from pencil boxes past. The pens have very fine points—it took a few seconds of scribbling to get the ink started. But the colors are vivid (there's a whole rainbow in the set), and it's adorable that each colored pen is labeled with the color name and "happy day". What a charming little detail!

Larabar in Cashew Cookie - Value $1.08

Wow! MissionCute included this Larabar as a bonus! I'm already a big Larabar fan, and Cashew Cookie is one of my favorite flavors. It only contains two ingredients (seriously—just cashews and dates) and is just sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. This healthy snack didn't last long. Mmm, mmm, mmm!

"What Is Done in Love Is Done Well" Vincent van Gogh Quote Print - Listed Value $9

MissionCute produced this print and lists its value as $9, but I feel like that's a little too high. The print is on cardstock and doesn't come framed or anything. Still, it's a great quote, and I like the warm purple color. I think once I pick up a frame for this, it'll look pretty darn cute hung up on my wall.

Verdict: I liked the September MissionCute box. While the value MissionCute gives the items might be a little high (the value I found was about $39, which breaks even with the cost of the box. MissionCute values everything at about $57.50, excluding the Larabar), I was definitely delighted by everything in this box. The items are practical and charming, and I love the kawaii designs that popped up here and there.

I used to buy and sell cheap chinese watches on the internet and I can find you that exact watch, brand and all for roughly a dollar on ebay. It’s total junk lol. Everything seems ok.

I think this box is so cute and almost subscribed to the smaller one a time or two. The point that some of the cost goes to a really great cause is the best part. I just hate when boxes blow up there prices for things and that when the real prices are added together it barely comes to what you payed. Another thing is I see many of these cute items somewhere else for alot cheaper then any of the prices above. I also feel like their boxes were better quality a year ago then they are now. I still think the box is sweet and love the causes they help out. I am just saying what I think and nothing more and nothing less.

I agree, Beth! I love the positivity behind the box, from the cute items they pick to the fact that they choose and bring awareness to great causes. I just wish the quality was more consistent, as it can be kind of hit or miss. I will say I just took that notebook along with me on a trip, and it was SO handy and fared really well, despite having to tumble around in my bag all weekend! So that item gets an A+ from me. Thanks so much for reading and commenting <3

This is a nice assortment of items, I wonder if they put just a smaller selection of the same in their mini box?

JRM

The mini had the print, pens, different but similar tabs, and the watch.

Thanks! Bummer the notebook isn’t included, but it’s still a nice little package!
