The bag came with this information card, which included directions for each product (many of the labels did not have much English so this was helpful) as well as the products’ intended effects.
Tonymoly Easy Touch Lip Liner (full size) – Value $4.66
I had one of these in my stash already, thanks (oddly enough) to Beauteque Mask Maven. But that one was a different color. These go on pretty smoothly and help prevent migration, plus I have a ton of red lipstick in my collection and wear lipstick nearly every day, so this was a win for me. (Subscribers received random colors.)
Here is a swatch of the lipliner. Red is my favorite color! (This is shade 05.)
A’Pieu Aqua Nature Pore Management Blackhead Clean Off Nose Pack (50 mL, full size) – Value $12
I receive the oily/acne variety of TutiiBag (I’m in my late 30s but still have some oily skin issues) so this product makes perfect sense. You don’t have to limit yourself to putting it just on your nose, although I saw the most dramatic results there. Although the information card suggested rinsing this off with warm water (it is a lot like a clay mask), I found that you could (mostly) peel it off once it was dry. It definitely made the pores on my nose look better!
Dr. G Super Aquasis Moisture Toner (30 mL) – Value $0.92
I’m having trouble finding ingredients from this one, although it does apparently contain sea water, which has lots of minerals. I like getting toner in subscription boxes as it is something I use every day. This one is pretty gentle and doesn’t strip the natural oils from my skin, so it will be good for winter (ha, winter, it is in the mid-80s where I live right now).
Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask – Value $3
You will usually get one sheet mask in TutiiBag. Papa Recipe is a new brand for me and I hope to see more of it in the future. This was a big mask that even wrapped around the sides of my face and it had a light, pleasant scent (the scent that honey masks nearly all have). It has honey and propolis, which have anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, so it should be good at clearing up breakouts (you’d need to use more than one to see that effect). It also has allantoin, which soothes rough skin, and hyaluronic acid for moisture. I am a fan!
Etude House Put Your Hands Up Cottony Deo Tissue – Value $1.95
This is a deodorant wipe that is supposed to remove sweat and unpleasant odors. I didn’t try it under my arms (I have very sensitive skin there) but after a workout, I wiped it around where my sports bra band rests and it was pretty refreshing and the scent transferred away from the wipe. These would be good for people who have outdoor activities planned or who work out during the lunch hour and have to go back to the office afterward. The main active ingredient seems to be corn starch.
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $22.53 for the October 2016 Miss Tutii Bag. That is above the cost of the subscription by a fair amount and is a pretty typical value for this subscription. I would also say the contents this month are representative of the types of items you can expect in any given month. I was happy with the products (yay, red lip liner) and especially loved the nose pack and sheet mask.
What did you think of the October 2016 Miss Tutii Bag? Do you get any K-Beauty or Asian Beauty subscriptions?
