Each month, Loot Crate will release a theme that spans across their Core Crate, Loot Pets, Loot Wear, and Loot Crate DX. This month’s theme was Horror.

Each month includes a card that details the items. I love the headstones on the front of the card this month!

They will always include a collar charm as well – this month’s mimics the Loot Crate Core Crate pin.

Negan Sluggers Shirt – Value $10?

This month’s shirt is slightly different from the shirt in the Loot Crate Core Crate. It essentially just removes Jeffrey Dean Morgan from the graphic, but leaves Lucille.

Buckles’ shirt was slightly big on him this month – it seems like Loot Crate has a lot of trouble standardizing their shirt sizes from time to time (dog and human) – this was one of those months.

Gremlins Pet Feeding Mat – Value $10-15?

This is a fun, exclusive, item!

If you don’t remember Gremlins or were too young for the movie, feeding your Mogwai after midnight will cause them to turn into a Gremlin – hence the “Don’t Feed After Midnight!” slogan on the mat.

Seriously, how cute was Gizmo, though? I digress…

Here’s a closer look at the graphic on the mat.

Spooky Snacks – Value $10?

These turkey treats were a big hit with Buckles.

The treats are shaped like little ghosts – these are Scooby approved.

This is Buckles’ favorite type of photoshoot – he’ll put up with t-shirts if it means eventual treats. You can see him here, losing his patience.

The treats were a big hit – he’s one of the more picky dogs I’ve met – so that’s a win for us!

The Mystery Machine Toy – Value $10-15?

Sticking with the Scooby theme, the toy this month is The Mystery Machine van from Scooby Doo.

It’s a little more rugged, which will be good with heavy chewers, and has a squeaker in it. It was a little big for Buckles to play with – so it will be passed along to another pup.

Verdict: Liz and I still love getting our Loot Pets delivery each month! She’s a sucker for Buckles in a shirt, so this is really an ideal subscription for her. It’s nice to see the extra item back in the box – this month’s extra accessory was the feeding mat. While it was nice to have a human and dog shirt in the box, it definitely took away a lot of value from your dog.

  1. Oh my gosh I need that Gremlin mat!!!

  2. I loved the front of the card as well! I agree the shirt sizes seem to vary widely from month to month. I’m not a big fan of the shirt this month, due to the premiere episode Sunday. Ugh, I can’t get the Glenn seen out of my mind!

I was glad to have treats that seemed a little softer than the last couple months and loved the Gremlins mat!

Thanks for the cute Buckles pictures!

  3. Love the product card front too!!

  4. I know you hear this a lot but Buckles is adorable and looks so cute in his shirt, even if its a bit big. Maybe it will shrink??

    • Aw, thank you! I’m always happy to hear it! 🙂 And I bet the shirt will shrink a little. (Plus better to be a little loose than a little tight!)

      • I agree! I think the tees are so cute & Buckles definitely pulls them off. He would definitely rule the puppy runway! How old is Buckles & I’m sure I should know this by looking at him… but what is his breed? We are looking to get a new puppy (we’ve wanted a dog for so long!) & I really like yours. I may look into getting a puppy that is tbe same breed as Buckles! (Then I’ll HAVE to get the Loot Pets subscription, so MY dog has super cute tshirts to wear!)

        • !!!! I really want you to get a puppy and send me pics!!! Buckles is a Cairn Terrier Poodle mix. He’s 9, and the best dog ever 🙂 (I’m a little biased.)

          • Awwww! He’s a wonderful mix! He’s also the cutest puppy ever! You’re totally allowed to be biased! Is he super playful or more low key? I have a 14yr old Siamese, so we definitely are looking for a more low key puppy. Jade couldn’t deal with a really over-active pup. She’d lose her little kitty mind! Lol. My husband says I’m not allowed to dress up the puppy, but shhhh… I’m going to do that anyway! I will definitely send you a pic once we pick one out! It’s such a hard, but important decision! We want to pick the perfect one!

          • He had energy when he was a puppy, but probably less than a lot of puppies? Now he’s snoozing about 90% of the time. Very low key which is perfect for us 🙂
