A poll – how many people here are on the Gilt City deal and will be canceling after this month? This box was great November – March, then really started downhill. First sign was getting a $3 sea salt spray in my April box (a duplicate of an item in my TARGET box that month!) and the decline was really brought home in that June Tony Awards box where 5 of the 6 products had a retail value of $5 or less. I’m definitely done. Taught me the lesson to beware of long term commitments to a sub box – they can go downhill fast!

I’m on the Gilt deal, this is my last month and I won’t resuscribe due to always getting the low value variations. Same reason I cancelled Allure and Wal-Mart.

I’m on the gilt deal but I didn’t activate it until January – I agree that June and July were absolutely offensive boxes ($2 nail polish both months? Target absolutely sends better items, what a joke!) But the last couple of boxes have seemed better – I think if this month was my last month, I might cancel. But if GB can hang in there for the next couple of months, I might give them more of a chance.

Glossybox is only consistent about one thing- sending crappy boxes.
I rarely see anyone overall happy with their box, just trying to work with what they have.
Glossybox and Boxycharm are the same price and boxycharm is ALWAYS better with full sized products that are also wonderful.
*Glossybox in other countries, like the U.K. look very good. Look on Instagram with the hashtag #glossybox and compare other countries to Glossybox US.

Before I signed up for Boxycharm, I followed reviews (many on MSA!), looking back for some months worth to see which one I wanted – as they’re the same price. I picked Boxy! I did purchase 3 of Glossybox past boxes when they were on sale earlier this year. What a let down! Even at the lower price. Their CS is horrid. Boxy sends larger sizes and is a better overall value, imo. But like someone else said, it depends on what you want out of it. Personally, I’d never sub to Glossy – not even when they had that free box special! They have some type of deal every month! They’ve got to be desperate.

I love Glossybox! I’ve had my subscription for six months, and I’ve gotten quite a few items that I have loved enough to repurchase. I also have subscriptions to Boxycharm, Birchbox, Sephora, and Ipsy (two lol) and I’ve repurchased more items from Glossybox than from any of the other subs.

I’ve been pretty happy with the Glossyboxes I’ve gotten. I got the 3-mos. with 2 free boxes deal, so it was a bargain. I keep looking at Boxycharm, but they send a LOT of bronzer, brown eyeshadow and dark lip colors that I don’t care for. Only one or two things in each box I would use. So I guess it’s up to individual preference.

Really? I am almost always happy with my Glossybox. There is usually only one thing I might not use. That and the Derm store box are the only ones I subscribe to anymore and I thought I had tried them all. Boxycharm is good? I will give ’em a whirl.

I would love it to be a actual”sleep mask”!! They have helped my sleep, my dry eyes and the condition of my eyelashes have improved tremendously!!!! (I use a sleep mask that is all silk)

I have never tried and sleep mask, but would love to! Including a sleep mask is a fun idea and I do hope that it has a silky texture. I can pair the mask with this month’s Birchbox pillow spray! ??

I’ve gotten that neroli oil before and it smells awful to me.

On Instagram I’ve seen a few boxes that have the above three listed spoilers, and also 1) full-size OGX niacin and caffeine root stimulator spray; 2) Masque Bar sheet mask (different varieties); and 3) a Glossybox branded sleep mask – not “sleep mask” as in a skin care product, but one of those fabric half masks one puts over one’s eyes to facilitate sleeping by cutting out any rogue beams of light. For some reason, these kind of masks always make me think of The Muppets.

This is an ok box. 6 products, 2 full sized. I can’t say I’m particularly crazy about anything though. If there are variations, let’s hope they’re at least equitable.

Looking forward to the cleanser the most of these 3 spoilers, but after the last couple months variations… It’ll be interesting to see if we all receive it. This is my last month, I’ll watch and see if it returns to being consistently good. For now, I switched to BeautyFix and have already received my October box! Nice to get one in the beginning of the month instead of the last week or 2.

I love BeautyFix! Consistently great stuff. My skin is looking amazing and I haven’t had to buy any skincare!
