The lip color is “like no other” it’s light reflecting, and neutral. It’s not at all one of the green or purple shades. and the ampoules look pretty exciting. Winter skin needs a boost. It’s not last years box…which had the Nuxe Oil & Aerin Palette, but I’m willing to give it a chance…

Are they kidding. This looks more like a Birchbox.

I swear it looks like those lip colours are paint colours! I hope they aren’t as awful irl. The other contents I could use, unless they send a dark brow colour. Even the lighter one might be too dark for me, so will have to think on this one…

I just got an email offering it for purchase now, although I thought it wasn’t available until 11/10. Not interested either way. If they don’t step up the Nov. box I’m done with them.

Omg! Those lipstick colors are horrendous! I’d call them orange crush and limeade or swamp greenie etc. lol Look at the colors on the website. Is it for clowns? Easy pass on all these products for me.

I wish there was a way to pass on items:-/ I have oily/acne prone skin and the idea of using a cleanser with oil does not sound like a great idea. Anyone know if an oil cleanser will break you out or make you shiny… not in a good way?

Google “oil cleansing method”, “Korean two step cleaning” or “Korean double cleansing”. Oil attracts oil & you will find your skin levelling out, with rare or no breakouts. My daughter being almost 17 is going through an oily acne phase (my side of the family all have very dry skin, never had acne when young, so that’s why I say “phase” as it may pass) & like me has very tiny pores so it becomes cystic easily. I suggested trying the oil cleansing method with a follow up cleanser, same as the Korean double cleansing method (only without K-Beauty products) & her skin looks fab! Rarely breaks out, the texture soft & velvety! I’ve developed post menopausal hormonal acne & having such tiny pores it gets cystic very fast, so I use the Korean two step cleansing method (I do use K-Beauty products, some with very gentle exfoliants that don’t irritate) to clear up blemishes before they become too painful. You may have an initial breakout but then it should level out, can’t hurt to try, and might be a solution for you! Good luck!

Oil cleanser is actually really good to remove all makeup and skin feel soft and not overdry. Give it a try, you might love it.

I have very oily skin, and oil cleansers are actually my top choice when it comes to removing makeup. They keep my skin soft, and not tight or irritated like a like of other cleansers geared toward oily skin do. However, I only use it at night, and not in the morning since I only use oil cleansers to remove makeup, then I go in with a 2nd cleanser to actually clean my face.

Oil cleansers are actually supposed to be great, even for people with oily skin. The thought is that your oil glands are over-producing oil and if you add oil to the skin, your skin should eventually reduce natural production. If you’re interested in some research, you can look into the double cleanse method, which is popular in Korean beauty routines.

Yes, I’ve used DHC Olive Cleansing Oil for years with no issues. Ironically, it’s not oily at all after you rinse.

From reviewing the selections of the shimmer lipsticks on their website it appears I would look like I’d rubbed either Pepto Bismol or Kermit the Frog on my lips. This spoiler just went from bad to worse.

So true! I am still madly in love with the Lip Bar lipstick from the Holiday 2014 box. But that’s a good American brand, made in America, quality packaging, amazing formula, fantastic red colour. But Bad Medina?! Really? Looks as bad as Medusa’s Makeup.
Although even serious companies have been known to release weird colours – a grey Dior lipstick or a green Bite one, for example.
I am always left wondering – who buys these colors and actually wears them?

Medusas Makeup is also made in the USA.

About the Medusas Makeup lip colors. They look really dark and bright but they are a actually quite sheer. As for the Bad Medina, how does green fit in with the rest of their light colored pallette. I don’t quite get that selection of colors.

Barbara

The more spoilers they release, the easier it is to pass on this.

I thought the same thing!

Glossyboxes make good storage boxes but the Look Fantastic boxes are just as nice and a bit larger for storage. Where else can we stash our surplus items so nicely.

Barbara

This will be an easy pass….I have no interest in these items

If only the products they send were as awesome as their boxes!

I will be pulling the trigger on this, cannot wait. 🙂

The box is pretty but I’m not really interested in the contents.

Considering FFF is only $10 more, this doesn’t even remotely tempt me.

Kate

Nope, me either.
