Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my style profile is “T-Shirt and jeans.”

I've been subscribing March 2013 and in general, I'm very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value - especially the t-shirts. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

I was hoping for some Fall/Winter clothing this month - and they definitely delivered!

Redcliff Pullover Sweatshirt

I really love this item - it's one of, if not the, best top I've received from Five Four Club.

The 60/40 Cotton/Polyester blend results in just about the softest sweater I own. While it's light, I still found that it did an excellent job at keeping me toasty on a cold day.

While it is a basic design overall, it did have a couple of unique touches - like the slightly two-toned blue colors of the arms, along with a small two-toned blue stripe on your shoulders.

Robles Relaxed Jeans

This was only a two item box and the last item was a pair of jeans. They almost always have some spandex in their jeans, this one is a 98/2 Cotton/Spandex mix, which gives them some flexibility. This pair is also soft to the touch!

For a little extra design detail, your inner packed lining  has some fun dollar sign graphics printed on them!

For all jeans from Five Four Club, you'll be choosing only your waist size - so you'll have to take the additional step of getting them hemmed.

Verdict: I haven't been happier with a sweater, ever. It's so comfortable that I might go buy a couple more from their store to have all winter long. I've found myself being more happy than disappointed with Five Four Club lately, which is great - I think they've worked out some of the sizing kinks that existed over a year ago, which has kept me a happy subscriber for a quite a while now!

So I subscribed with the 50% off and our first package was a sweater similar to yours and straight legged jeans with the same lining as yours. My husband is six feet and there will be no need for hemming, it all fits perfectly! It looks sooo good on him. I gmailed them and told them what a great job they did and in their response they let me know he would receive an open sweater and a button down for November. He loves button downs and open sweaters. 🙂 Thank you so much for your reviews and the coupon.

They sent me a deal for 2 months for $60 as a returning customer. I might be tempted but for two things: 1) the not being able to pick the length on pant sizes is frustrating. My son is 34 x 34 and the length is pretty important. Plus, I just don’t hem things. 2) The cancellation process requires a phone call. I don’t like having to call and cancel…I’d rather just being to tell you online.

I do like their shirts and would like to try them again. That sweater looks awesome. But those two reasons keep me from resubbing.

They will reimburse $10 for hemming but a) every place around me charges at least $13 and b) the reimbursement is in the form of a credit for the next month and can’t be combined with any other discounts—it’s such a hassle. I requested no pants and they said ok, but I’d have to request each season—but looks like they only honored the no pants for one month and sent me pants again this month—October and September should still be the same season!
