Meet Hello!Lucky, a cute indie greeting card subscription!

Meet Hello!Lucky, a three-month greeting card subscription created by two crafty, clever sisters with a flair for fun stationery. If you're environmentally conscious like me, you'll appreciate the effort Hello!Lucky puts into producing sustainable paper goods—they utilize sustainable printing practices, recycled paper, and packaging from green manufacturers. Hello!Lucky sells their products individually via their site shop, but for someone new to this indie stationery brand, this three-month subscription seems like the perfect way to get acquainted!

This is a review of the Hello!Lucky greeting cards we received for month one of our three-month subscription, which happened to start in August 2016.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this subscription. Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.

Bonjour! A cool greeting card from indie letterpress, Hello!Lucky

Hot Lips - Value $5

This little stack of cards came packed neatly inside a clear plastic sleeve and topped with a happy note introducing you to this month of the subscription. Up next in the pile, this awesome "Bonjour!" card, which is printed in bubblegum-pink and inky-blue lips. I personally love the all-purpose nature of this delightfully irreverent card—I'm terrible at keeping in touch with out-of-town friends, and "just because" cards like this are the perfect way to motivate me to write and reach out.

What's a birthday without ice cream? Love this card from indie greeting card subscription, Hello!Lucky

Happy Ice Creams - Value $5

From here, things just get cuter and cuter. This birthday card is just as sweet as can be, with its pastel pink-and-blue ice cream cones. (Eeeee! Those little faces!) I can't imagine pulling this card from its brown butcher-paper envelope and not smiling right back at this colorful design.

Hot dog, that's one cute greeting card from Hello!Lucky, an indie greeting card subscription!

Many Franks - Value $5

I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh out loud when I saw this hysterical little hot dog thank you note. These funny, punny wieners have a midcentury flair to them, like they jumped off the page of a '60s grocery store ad. And the bubblegum-pink palette is cheerful, fresh, and fun. Aaadorable.

Meet Hello!Lucky, a cute, indie greeting card company with a 3-month subscription box!

Maybe the best part of this Hello!Lucky pack is the fact that all the crisp, butcher-paper envelopes come with STAMPS! They're practically begging to be sent to your favorite friends and family.

Verdict: On their site, Hello!Lucky mentions that their products are meant to delight, and boy, do they ever deliver. The cool patterns, happy hues, and thoughtful details (seriously, those stamps!) made month one of this greeting card fun and functional. Plus, Hello!Lucky cards run about $5 each, so I'm calling this subscription worth it from all adorable angles!

I’ve been looking for a card subscription that was a good value and came with stamps. I think I might have to try this one. 😉

This looks like a cute subscription but I would prefer not to have my stamps already stuck onto the envelope. If I was to send a card overseas I’d need to get a global stamp. Other than that, I like the cards.

I would greatly appreciate if the stamps came separately, not stuck to the envelopes. That way if you are giving the card to its recipient in person, you can use the stamp for something else.

Smart thinking!

This looks like a great sub! I’m going to keep my eye on it.

Those little hot dogs DO look like they came out of a 60’s ad?. Even the stamps are cute. When one of my other subs end I’ll likely be picking this one up. Great review!
