I’ve somehow resisted these free gift with subscription offers from julep for years but this one just got me! Looks like a great assortment of lip, eyes and nail polish, I couldn’t resist!

Julep customer service is the best! I’ve subbed now for 6 mo. On the downside, at least one box I’ve received from them each month has had a problem – missing item or wrong color. BUT each time I’ve contacted them (always by phone) they have gone out of their way to make it right by quick shipping the correct item, letting me keep the items I didn’t order (some were v nice just not what I picked) and/or crediting my account. I have always been MORE THAN satisfied dealing w them.

Also, I got the “makeup the rules” bag and it is great. I use it on planes – but not just for makeup. I put all the stuff I want to have with me at my seat in the bag and it is super easy to pull out during the boarding rush. It holds my phone, headphones, kindle, lip balm, etc. And it’s really cute and durable. Highly recommend.

I’ve been with Julep for 3 months and I have to agree, their CS is great. I seem to encounter an issue about half the time with my boxes (missing item, damaged item, etc.).

Huge julep fan! I suggest anyone even remotely into makeup and/or skin care to try it.. the box price can’t be beat! Just be careful.. the deals, add-ons, and secret store is where you “accidentally” end up spending all your money on hauls lol.. but the products are usually great, and nothing some thinner can’t fix (polish speaking) 4mos a maven and coming up on 100 nail colors.. and i skipped a box. It becomes an addiction lol

This is SO true!!! I don’t subscribe anymore, and only did one 3 month subscription, and between the boxes, add-ons, mystery boxes (which I still purchase), secret store, and random deals, I accumulated over 60 polishes in that time frame, and I had never owned a single Julep polish before that!

Julep is really pushing for subscribers. I subbed and got the summer kit (4 polishes, highlight powder, and lipstick). The lipstick was great for a friend who is allergic to most lipsticks and even chap sticks, plus it was a fabulous color for summer. I really like the highlight powder, but the polish is just meh. The colors so far, have been a little too sheer for me. My first box was just ok. I originally chose 2 polishes and an eyeshadow duo, but changed on the last day to swap the eyeshadow for a different polish. I got the eyeshadow. Contacted CS, and although they have offered to send the polish for free, it has been a really long process with emails being far between. Not sure I will stick with this. Doesn’t seem worth $25

It’s unusual for them to take so long to fix a problem. They typically have AMAZING customer service!! If you can, give them a call—they will fix things instantly for you.

However, I do think they’ve been thrown off lately since there have been so many issues with their suppliers for the SPF products, and apparently the cosmetics case, so that could be why communicating via email might be taking longer right now.

If you’re willing to give them another chance, I’d suggest that the best use of this sub is to use your box choices for nail treatments, or makeup, or skincare, and then get the polish through add-ons, sales, coupons, or mystery boxes. I say that just because their polish is SO inexpensive for Mavens through those methods—usually only about $5 per polish.

Good luck & I hope you end up with a satisfactory resolution.

I placed an order and my party surprise kit if you remember well my extras came but not my party kit so i emailed them and probably 3 emails later because of robotics they was surprised to find out that the whims thing was missing and sent or a new summer pastry kit asap. I will say any problems i have had was fixed immediately after speaking to cs. That don’t happen with most subs you never get the product. I would suggest giving them another try. They have good product and cs is great to. Everybody has robotic emails.
