Dia & Co. Subscription Box Review – September 2016
Dia & Co. is a monthly clothing styling subscription service for plus sizes. When I signed up for the service, I filled out a fairly in-depth questionnaire about my likes and dislikes, my size, my price range, and other questions that might help my stylist. Every month my stylist sends five pieces for me to try out. The service fee is $20 per month, but that fee is applied to any item I decide to keep. Additionally, there is a 20% discount if I decide to keep all five pieces!
FYI – My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your package from Dia & Co. may be completely different!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Dia & Co.
The Cost: $20 Styling fee (Pay for whatever items you keep minus the $20 credit)
The Products: 5 plus-size clothing items selected for you based on your Style Profile.
Ships to: US Only, shipping is free both ways
Good to Know: I now have first-hand experience, Dia & Co. DOES price match! So if you like something and want to keep it, but find it for less somewhere else, Dia & Co. will sell the item to you for that price.

This is the note I received from my stylist this month, Stephanie, explaining why she chose each item. I absolutely love that she refers to my style board on Pinterest! Thank you for taking the time to look at it, Stephanie!
This is the invoice for the items they sent this month. It shows each item and the cost to keep, plus the cost of the items totaled. Then at the bottom it shows the total with the styling fee credited and the 20% discount for keeping all five items. The discount this month would be $64.40 if I kept all five items. That’s a deep discount!
Lyla Top by Sharagano Sportswear – Cost to Keep $49
I can totally see why my stylist chose this for me. It completely fits with my usual boho aesthetic. Unfortunately, I feel like the lower border makes me look like I’m in an inner tube, except the inner tube is made of… me… OK, it’s just not flattering…
These pants are super comfy! I think they look pretty cute, too. I haven’t seen pants made of this biz-casual material in a jogger / harem cut before. They don’t really make 100% sense to me, but I kind of like them.
Maribel Top by Tua – Cost to Keep $40
I love this top! It makes me feel like a hippie in the Swiss Alps. I love the black and red on white pattern, and I think the open neckline and flowing cut are fairly flattering on me. It’s also a great piece to transition to fall. This is a keeper!
Faye Oversized Denim Jacket by Rachel Roy – Cost to Keep $99
I kind of like the distressed look on denim, but this jacket is a little too far for my tastes. I think I look like I was attacked by a wild animal. The back has more of the same. And since this is the third denim jacket I’ve received in my styling boxes this month, I probably should send this one back.
Maxine Dress – Cost to Keep $85
This dress is beautiful! It’s totally my style, it’s flattering, and the colors are perfect for fall. Win!
Verdict: Dia & Co. is one of my favorite subscription boxes! It’s true that it took a month or so for them to get my style down, but lately they have been sending me lots and lots of good stuff. I think I will be keeping the pants, dress, and Maribel top this month, but please vote and let me know what you think I should keep. I love crowd sourcing! I also love that Dia kind of makes me step out of my comfort zone and try new things. It’s awesome!
