I was excited for this box, then it arrived and I feel let down. The print appeals to me more than I thought it would. I plan to use it to decorate my new office. Teas are always useful and being anemic, the fish has certain value. The sack thingy is weird and has no use for me. The apron seems unfinished to me with strings hanging off of it everywhere. The pictures make it look like ruffles, but no. It’s all raw, unfinished edges. The thank you cards are useful enough. But the necklace broke my heart. It’s pretty and delicate and ridiculously short. It’s way too close around my neck for me to wear.

I feel for you with the necklace- the pictures really made it look longer. I have a (sort of) slender neck so I’ll be able to wear it but I wasn’t planning on owning yet another short gold necklace. It’s a different style than the other 2 I have (&it is lovely) so I’ll adapt… but I really wish, especially for the sake of others who can’t wear shorter necklaces comfortably, that they would have made the length a bit more clear in the spoilers.

Does your apron not have the bottom ruffle? I haven’t seen any pics without one… mine had a few strings but I pulled them off & it looks good now.

I was excited initially and I loved the summer box but this is so meh for me in person. The necklace is so tiny I’ll have to use an extender and I have no use for an apron, the colors don’t even match my decor so I can’t use it that way either. Here’s hoping winter is better

I really like that the fish and the Urbana container are so different from typical subscription box items. Don’t get me wrong. I’m really excited for the tea, and the necklace is what makes the box worth the cost for me. But those are the types of items we see a lot of. The fish and basket are all new!

I would love the apron and the iron fish, but the box is a little out of my price range right now. Maybe next season 🙂

I REALLY like this box! That apron is so cute- I’d never go near a stove without an apron on ( I collect vintage ones) so I’m gonna look into this brand cause no new subs for me till the new year.
Great box, great review-Thanks!

i signed up for the causebox for two reasons: i love getting stuff in the mail; and i love supporting good causes. now that’s out of the way.

i won’t use the apron, but my sil will love it. i probably won’t use the bag/basket either as i already have a gazillion. i love the iron fish–i don’t eat meat, so what a great idea to get more iron in my diet. always a bit anemic) the print will be gifted. i do write “thank you” notes, so the more the merrier. but, that necklace–totally worth the price of admission! i would have been thrilled just to get the necklace. the other stuff is gravy. most of it will be gifted, but that’s okay with me. i like giving gifts.

I liked the box although nothing really “floated my boat” except the Iron Fish. I frequently suffer from low hemoglobin and get iron infusions. If this iron fish works that would be great.

I actually wear aprons, especially when I bake, so I’m glad to get another one. I like the little fabric bag — not sure what I’ll use it for, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out. I have quite a few thank-you notes I’ve gotten from other subs, and it’s forced me to hand-write more notes which is a good thing. I love delicate necklaces, and usually stack them — this looks like a good one to stack. I can always use more tea. Not sure about the print, but I’ll find somewhere to hang it. The fish I’ll either use as decoration or swap. All in all, a good box with some great stuff!

The iron fish is interesting because I was anemic when I was pregnant and post pregnancy and my bby was too since I was bf ing

I see this as a rustic, cozy, warm fall theme & I LOVE it. Run to the last of the outdoor farmers markets with your urbana sac. Make some vegetable soup while wearing your adorable apron &adding some iron to it with your fish. Drink a tasty cup of Hobbs tea while writing to a friend.

This is my first causebox & I am super excited about the apron. I’ve always wanted a pretty apron but it’s not something I’d go out & buy on my own. The necklace spoiler is what got me to sign up (as well as the mission of causebox). I have tons of pendants& crystals, I might see how the necklace looks if I add one… But it’s gorgeous on it’s own.

I’m not much of a print person&i already have way too many cards but I knew going into causebox that almost every box will include one or other (or both) &i have plenty of people in my life who I know’d love them. The print would really spark up a gray cubicle at work.

I wouldn’t have minded a spice or food of some sort (or cozy socks*) but I’ll be patient & see if the winter box has that 🙂

*though I have size 12 feet &know I may have to gift any socks I get (as i did with the fabfitfun toesox) but some are stretchy 🙂

Are you a writer? If not, you should be one, Lenore. I already LOVE causebox. Not only does it make me feel good for ordering it since it contributes to a good cause but I’ve never been disappointed with it. I will use everything pictured in the spoilers one way or the other. I need a new apron; I can always use a new piece of jewelry; this wonderful eco-friendly bag will be used for myself or a package for a gift; I have a friend that is anemic so I will gift to her…
This is a great box.

Not officially, mainly it’s long emails/letters to friends 🙂 but thank you 🙂

The sac isn’t a bag, sadly. It’s a small tabletop fabric container.

First box for me. Kind of meh. Glad I didn’t do a yearly sub

So the value of the box is there. That was delivered. But after the necklace and apron everything else seems a little thrown together. Definitely expected more oomph from a seasonal box. I like the prints but I think everyone would agree there are only so many you can get before you run out of ideas or room for them. The summer box made me think wow and I signed up now I think I’ll wait for the spoiler.

This is the first Causebox I’ve been interested in for awhile. I might jump back in.

Oh no. An apron. I found it hard to swap away the last Liz Alig apron I got. They’re actually well made and really pretty with the mixed chambray blue shades but I only wear an apron when I wash the dogs and this pretty, ruffled, recycled number won’t do the job. Luckily there are folks who collect aprons so hopefully I will run into another such person. It’s far too pretty to just languish with my brooms and dog shampoos when there are people out there who will actually use them. The rest of the items look pretty awesome to me – I can’t wait! I have such a hang up on delicate jewelry and I love dogeared pieces. I also love that little iron fish because I like to carry odd little lucky pieces and I think that little guy looks lucky!

Upon first glance I was pretty disappointed by these spoilers but looking at it again I actually think I will use everything, except the fish. That being said, it’s definitely not an exciting box and I usually expect way more of a seasonal vibe from quarterly boxes. Their summer box felt like a summer box but this one doesn’t feel like a fall box.

I re-signed because I really liked the Summer Box, but this one just does nothing for me as a Fall Box. The necklace and Thank You notes are nice but the rest is just meh for me– and they counted the box itself as an item??
