I chose The Mothers and Good as Gone. I also chose early shipping. I am stoked to start reading these.

Honestly, the two that appealed to me this month were both available at my library, so I placed holds on them. I decided to skip this month, which I have not yet done, to catch up on some books I have already, and hopefully read the two I placed holds on. I love that you get that option with BOTM, and it extends your membership for a month when you skip one. Very nice feature, in my opinion.

I picked The Mothers because it had the highest rating on Goodreads out of all the books. I wasn’t immediately drawn to one book over another this month.

As a head’s up “The Mothers” is going to be in the Powell’s Indiespensable sub for Vol. 62 in case anyone’s getting that one, as well 🙂 I’m definitely getting “The Wonder” as “Room” was such a powerful book by that author. I’m also getting “The Mothers” through Powell. I’m debating on whether or not to add “Good as Gone,” it’s the only one on this list not available at my library. Excellent selection this month by the way!!

Thanks for the heads-up, Miranda! Glad I hadn’t pulled the BOTM trigger yet on Mothers when I read your comment. Wangs of the World and The Wonder it is, then. And now I’m inordinately excited to get my next Indiespensable package!

Well crap. I want THREE. Wangs Vs The World (Love Constance Wu, totally trust her book choices), I have got to read The Mothers, and I really love Emma Donaghue. Had a book credit so I got all three. I skipped last month which is how I’m justifying it!

The Mothers is really getting around in book boxes this month! I think this is the third I’ve seen it in.
I’m going with The Fall Guy and I may add on Ready Player One, which I’ve been wanting to read for a long time. I considered Good as Gone, but Amazon has it for free if you have Kindle Unlimited. You can’t beat free!
