Fancy Hard Fruit Candies - $0.50?
These hard candies were sweet and fruity. There were three loose ones in the box. I’m estimating the value since I can’t find these online.
Chewy Thomas Candy - $2.00?
My son loves trains and was so excited when he saw these Thomas candies. The package had five individually wrapped sticks inside. They looked like chewing gum. But they were more like a soft Starburst. They were good!
Byrd’s Cinnamon Cookies - $2.24?
I wasn’t very excited to see another package of Byrd’s cookies this month. The ones in the BoCandy box last month were quite disappointing. These weren’t much better; dry and crumbly with a cinnamon flavor.
Bestini Cheese Snacks - $3.00?
These salty snacks were reminiscent of cheese doodles but they had a pronounced corn flavor. They were less cheesy flavored than the brands I’ve had here in the US. They were ok, but I wouldn’t crave them.
Exploding Candy Rocks - $2.00?
These purple candy rocks were just like Poprocks. They popped and crackled in my mouth and had a nice grape flavor. The package also contained small white candies that almost looked like medicine, but they were firm and tart like SweeTarts. I’ve always loved Poprocks so these were a hit.
Fruits Mix Gummy Candy - $5.00?
These Japanese gummy candies were individually wrapped and came in three flavors: apple, muscat and grape. They were fresh and firm and packed a lot of fruit flavor. I prefer my gummy candies to be sour but my kids loved these!
Verdict: This month’s Bocandy box was a much bigger hit than last month’s; I enjoyed seeing more candies and less snack cakes. The exploding candies and Thomas candies were the favorites this month. Since these items are hard to find I had to estimate values, but I feel this box is well with the $15 cost to discover new treats from around the world.
