Console Controller Shirt - Value $15?
This month's shirt highlights all of the console controllers of my childhood! I can't believe they got Dreamcast and Sega Saturn in there! Eventually, your controller cords even ended up looking like they do on the shirt, too. The shirt shows off controllers from Nintendo, Sega Genesis, SNES, Virtual Boy, Sega Saturn, N64, Dreamcast, and Gamecube. Lots of awesome here.
Sega Genesis USB Hub - Value $15-20?
If you are in need of a USB hub, I can find no one hub better than this little Sega hub!
Sega was my favorite system in my childhood. I can still remember playing Mario Lemieux Hockey and Sonic when I first got it!
Assassin's Creed Construction Set - Adewale - Value $6 on Amazon
The only non-retro gaming item this month is from Mega Bloks and Assassin's Creed.
This is the completed Adewale set. Mega Bloks have a more lifelike appearance and more joints for better pose-ability than Legos - you can find some cool sets out there.
Super Mario Chip Clips - Value $5-10?
The next item is from Mario - it's a set of power-up chip clips!
You'll receive 1-UP, Invincible Star, and Fireball power-up clips!
Retro Videogame Magazine Replay Vol 1 - Value $12.99
This is essentially a summation of my childhood. I LOVED video game review magazines - I couldn't wait to read all about the games coming out that month, I can't even imagine what it'd be like with sites like IGN these days.
This includes retrospectives from a simpler time of video games. It spans across numerous consoles as well, with retrospectives from Bomberman to Halo.
Verdict: I loved this month's Arcade Block. The nostalgia was in full-force for me - from the shirt all the way to the magazine, it was like opening a box that my younger self would have picked out for me. This is easily one of my favorite Arcade Blocks yet.
