Wellness Tribe’s August theme is "Hydrate." I love the quotes they tie each month’s theme. The August quote is, “You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.” (Rumi). The items this month help subscribers quench their thirst, soothe their skin, and nourish their hair.

Each box comes with a card identifying, describing and pricing each item. Subscribers can also download the Hydrate Wellness Tribe Guide from the Wellness Tribe blog for tips and a recipe to help embrace this month’s theme.

Captain Blankenship Gold Waves Sea Salt Shimmer Spray - $28

I love the waves this product gave me and the smell is great! I have other salt wave sprays but this is the best I’ve used so far. You can see the gold next to my skin in the photo above but I couldn’t see it much in my blond hair.

Live-Inspired Organics Sugar Scrub with Strawberry Essence - $25 ($15.95 on Live-Inspired website)

This makes my skin feel incredibly soft but unfortunately it’s a mess. I spilled it all over due to the liquid state of the oil and as you can see I had to use a paper towel when photographing it so that oil wouldn’t get on everything. Maybe if the weather were a bit cooler then it wouldn’t be as messy. It’s has a great smell though and I do love the way my skin feels after using it.

Tasty Brand Citrus Splash Grab & Go Organic Gummies - Value $3

I love getting snacks that are natural and easy to take in your purse. My daughter loved the citrus flavor of these and she had to fight her father her favorite flavors.

Weleda Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery - $17

Calendula is a popular herb for treating skin wounds and trauma. I didn’t have any wounds to use this on but I can tell you this crème smells good and is incredibly moisturizing. I’m not sure if all Weleda products are this amazing but I’m certainly going to buy more to find out. Get this one now!

Goodonya Oranges & Pineapple Hydrate Organic Electrolyte Drink - $3

No high fructose corn syrup and only 5 grams of sugar. This drink is a winner in our book and it tastes good too. Our young one even liked it and my cyclist husband wants to get more of this.

Devita-C Serum – Bonus Sample!

I love vitamin C creams and serums so I was excited to receive this as a bonus this month. Some reviews said this oil-like serum caused a burning sensation when they put it on but that did not happen to me. I believe there will be enough here to use for a few weeks so I’m excited to see the results.

Verdict: August was another great month for Wellness Tribe subscribers! I will use everything in this box and I’m super excited about the Devita-C Serum, the Weleda Calendula cream, and the Captain Blankenship sea salt spray. The value is $79.00 worth of products for a $45 month to month cost. I think Wellness Tribe is doing a wonderful job on this box!
