This month's box is all about "Makeup Artist Must-Haves." The info card included gives a brief description of each item included, plus tips for usage.

SisleyBeautySub-023

Express Flower Gel - .35 oz Value $23.30

This is a lightweight gel mask that is all about hydration. You apply a thin layer, let sit for 3 minutes, then remove any excess (if you like). I tried this as part of my nighttime skincare routine and decided not to remove any of it - at $66 an ounce I'm leaving this stuff on!

I could tell a difference in my skin after wearing it for only a few minutes - my face felt and looked much more hydrated!

This is definitely a hit for me - and I'm happy that this sample size should be good for at least 3 uses.

SisleyBeautySub-021

Intense Anti-Aging Hydration - .35 oz Value $63.75

These tiny samples are getting more expensive! This moisture cream works for both day and night and is another great product for hydration.

I liked how quickly it absorbed into my skin - I think I'll be using this as my daytime moisturizer until the very last drop!

SisleyBeautySub-018

Global Perfect Pore Minimizer - .34 oz Value $73

I just double checked my math because my first thought was that there is no way this sample could be $73, but the full-sized version is only 1 ounce and retails for $215, so there you go!

This is an excellent primer. The formula has a slight tint to it, but nothing noticeable once it was blended in. It mattified my skin and was a great base for my foundation. I didn't notice any pore-minimizing visual effects, but it kept my face shine-free throughout the day!

SisleyBeautySub-013

Eye Contour Mask - .11 oz Value $13.75

This mask is a thick cream designed to reduce fine lines and puffiness around your eyes. You put it on for 10 minutes then remove any excess product. My main issues with my eye area are dark circles, so this product isn't a perfect match for me, but I still had to try it.

I didn't notice a huge difference with this product, but the skin around my eye area definitely looked more refreshed after I removed it.

It's unfortunate that this sample is in a foil packet (I think there are at least 2 uses in this sample, and would have preferred a tube for easy storage.)

SisleyBeautySub-017

Eye Concealer with Botanical Extracts - .02 oz Value $4.30

This concealer seemed to be made for my dark circles, but it didn't have the full coverage I was looking for. If you only need a sheer coverage in an undereye concealer, this might be a good fit, though!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $178. That is INSANE for a $10 box! Of course, these are all relatively small samples, but it's a great way to try out Sisley products before purchasing them full-size, and this box definitely felt like a luxe spa-like treat for me!

Worst subscription service ever!!! I have never gotten one box after paying with my credit card and they do not answer the phone or reply to any questions via customer service emails. I have never had any of the subscription box services I utilize (and its a bunch!) have no way to contact them or track an order. I feel taken advantage of and just want others to know about their horrible (non-existent) customer service. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere! I can’t believe I am the only one having this difficulty!

My box just shows up every month and I have never had any issues. If it is been more than a month since you ordered your subscription I would contact your credit card company and dispute the charge.

Yes that is what I am going to do. I just wish I could of gotten any assistance from Customer Service.

The RV on this is out of this world, obviously, but I’m half afraid of falling in love with something from the box and having to spend an arm and a leg for a full size (which is obviously what they’re going for, LOL).

That being said, there are a lot of skin-care products that I just don’t use so I might get minimal use out of this stuff.

Sisley contains too much fragrance for my preferences.

I subbed for a year 12 months for 100$ plus tax. I love quality skin care. This and Beautyfix are my only two now.

Liz, the trick for foil packet samples that a sisley counter girl tought me was to poke a hole with a pin, that way you can remove product and the rest of the product on the packet doesn’t spoils.

I find amusing that the reason I joined Birchbox 5 years ago was because of a $285 sisley cream that did not work for me I used to love sisley but thanks to your reviews I switched to LMBD… I do love that sisley has the option of buying the samples now… Still I have a serious overload of samples so the timing is off for me.

I use cases for contact lenses to save samples 🙂

My worry with this sub is that I will actually like something enough to want to buy it…. Sisley is insanely expensive! I will skip this one.

With a RV that high, I would be cutting open the tubes and scraping them out to get every last drop. It is crazy how much is left inside a tube, when you thought it was empty.

Anya

Haha, I agree. I cut open all the tubes of the products I really like to get the very last bit. There’s usually several days worth leftover. Nothing goes to waste!

The fact they can give $178 rv for a $10 box proves how ridiculously high their markup is. As with most luxury products, we’re paying for the name, not the ingredients. Still, I’d be lying to say I wasn’t tempted….?

So glad I signed up for a year. I found the concealor to not give as much coverage as I need. Loved the eye mask and ordered full size. Really liked the face wash and toner from the first month. Nordstrom anniversary sale had a great deal on a Sisley Paris spa to go set for $95.00.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to try a variety of Sisley products without breaking the bank. A one year susbscription is $100 (plus tax, at least in my state of CA), so a greater savings there. One of the best bangs for your buck (esc at this price point) of any subscription I’ve ever had. I will likely be a subscriber for as long as they offer this box.

I really think I’m going to sub to this one. The value is amazing. I receive a lot of sub boxes. When I find a ” go to product”, I purchase that product. My expectations will be high for the product s in this sub because of the Retail value of the full size versions. If I happen to find a must have ” go to” product in this sub..I will purchase it, but it will have to be a miracle product.

My knee-jerk reaction when I saw the foils was Uh oh. But then I remembered how crazy expensive this brand is and decided it made sense. And sure enough, those foils are made up for by the crazy high RVs of the regular samples!
