Revive Clothing Depot Subscription Box Review + Coupon- Aug 2016
Revive Clothing Depot is a used clothing boutique and online consignment shop! They’ve recently released a monthly bundle/subscription – basically, you pay each month to receive credits on your account, which you can then redeem at any point in the month to pick the items you want, regardless of the items’ selling prices! You can also pick your items at any point during the month, at once or at different times.
They have 3 different subscription plans offered: The Revive Pak has 4 items per month, Revive Bundle has 8 items per month, and the Revive Crate has 15 items per month. They also have a stylist add-on where you can work with a personal shopper to choose items for you based on your style!
This is a review of the Revive Pak, which is the 4-item package. I did not choose the stylist option this month.
This package was sent to us at no cost to review. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

These little cards were included in my package this month. The one on the left has Revive’s social media information, and the one on the right is a welcome note with the email for customer service.
The boys were in dire need of some outfits for church so I selected 2 button-down shirts and 2 pairs of pants!
Ralph Lauren Boys Top – Individual Item Cost $7.49 at Revive Depot. Average retail value for Ralph Lauren boys’ button-down tops is about $50
Chaps Boys Pants – Individual Item Cost $7.49 at Revive Depot. Retail value of these pants – $36 (on sale at Belk for $21.60)
First off, let me just say that yes, I would ordinarily force the boys to wear belts with these outfits! But I wanted you to see as much detail of the clothing as possible. Everything I received from Revive Depot this month arrived in great condition! There were no rips, stains, dirt, weird smells, or anything like that at all. This is the outfit I chose for my ten-year-old, who is average height and weight for his age. Both items fit like a dream! I think he looks fabulous in this outfit, and he will look super sharp this weekend at church!
One piece of advice for parents, though. Revive Depot sells many different brands of clothing! Make sure if you are interested in a piece for your child that you look up the size chart for that brand and make sure that size will fit your child. I mention this because both shirts I bought this month were a size Medium in boys, but because they are two different brands, one was meant to fit ten-year-olds, and the other is sized for eight-year-olds.
Duck Head Boys Top – Individual Item Cost $5.49 at Revive Depot. Retail value for Duck Head boys’ button-up shirts – $30? (I can’t find them for sale online anywhere!)
Izod Boys’ Pants – Individual Item Cost $5.49 at Revive Depot
Retail value of these pants – $34 (on sale at Belk for $26.99)
This is the outfit I chose for my eight-year-old. He is just transitioning into a size 8. He is average height for his age but very slender. I love this top! The sleeves are a little long yet, but he will grow into it just fine. It’s very strange, though, I can’t find Duck Head button-ups like this for sale online anywhere! Might this be a vintage piece?
We had a little bit of an issue with these pants, however. The listing at Revive Depot for this piece stated that they are a size 8, as does my email invoice, but they are in fact a size 8 “Husky”. They are a little long for my son, but since he is new to size 8, I kind of expected that they might be a bit long. That’s fine. Unfortunately, he should probably be wearing a size 8 Slim, so I’m afraid they will never work for him. They are still beautiful pants in great condition, and mistakes happen, so it’s ok.
I reached out to Revive Depot and asked what a subscriber would do in this situation. First of all, they confirmed that they do indeed try to list whether boys’ pants are special sized Husky or Slim, so I’m sure this was just an oversight. If I were a subscriber and I contacted customer service about this issue, they would give me a credit on my account and send a return label with my next package so I could return the pants. That seems completely fair and fine, and I know they would make it right.
Verdict: Sizing error aside, I think Revive Clothing Depot is awesome! For a $10 box cost, I received four pieces of beautiful clothing that I honestly can’t tell have ever been worn. The original retail value of these pieces would have been $150 new! Even if I bought the pieces individually at Revive Depot, I would have spent $26, so the Revive Pak is a steal! Aside from the little one’s pants, I think the boys look amazing in their new clothes!
