Nerd Block Jr. has just recently started including information cards that list out the contents, and I am so pleased! Sometimes with the geek boxes, it’s hard to tell what something is!

This little maze was printed on the back of the info card. Fun!

OK, as an update from last month when I admitted that I didn’t understand these shirt punch coupons, I have now figured them out. On the back is a portion of a picture, and last month I thought it was just printed on a recycled card! The object of this coupon game is to collect all ten portions of the picture and make a set. If you collect all ten, you get a $100 shirt punch gift card! I think.

Sonic the Hedgehog Tumbler – Value $8.45

I remember when we were little kids, and we got licensed drinkware from a fast food place, we were psyched out of our minds. My kids were underwhelmed, but this is an awesome tumbler! Is the novelty lost on this generation?

Emoji Backpack Clip – Value $7?

I couldn’t find this exact plush online, so I’m basing the value on similar items. This is the mystery item that was shoved into the Sonic tumbler shown above. My eight-year old liked this little guy, but he was freaked out by the feet. That’s totally ok, because I love this emoji clip, and I am keeping it for myself! Yes, I can do that, kids! I mainly love it because now whenever someone says something funny in social media, I respond with this picture.

Owl Magazine, Summer Edition – Value $5.99

It’s been a while, but my sons have received Owl Magazine in subscription boxes before. I think it’s like Canada’s answer to Highlights magazine? In any case, it’s packed with fun stories and activities. Perfect for a road trip!

Super Snow – Value $4.99

This is kind of cool because it says it will make over 2 quarts of fake snow. On the other hand, it’s not particularly geeky, and I am also somewhat distrustful of chemical toys. I’m not sure I will let the boys play with this. This item was also included in the Nerd Block Junior for Girls July Box.

Angry Birds Wind Chimes – Value $5

Even though my kids have outgrown actually playing Angry Birds, they still love them. This was a huge and immediate hit!

TMNT Leonardo Action Figure – Value $7.97

My sons are both TMNT fans, but they have a little cousin who is a super fan, so they decided to save him for their cousin’s birthday party this weekend. Hence, I did not pull him from the package, but I hope you can get a clear view from the second picture.

Lately Nerd Block Jr. has been including these spoiler cards for the next month’s box. Looks like it will be another great one!

Verdict: My sons love Nerd Block Junior for Boys! This month was packed with great stuff! The value of everything adds up to about $39, which is fantastic for a $20 box! Awesome!
