Encouragement Kit
The scripture card this month is for Isaiah 6:8: "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'"
I love the idea of an encouragement kit. Now that I work from home, I come in to contact with people a lot less than I did before. I need a constant reminder to encourage other people, not just spiritually, but just in general. I want to be known as an encourager!
Send Me Socks - Gray Polka Dot Socks - $8
These socks are so incredibly soft. I love them! The only thing I wish they had was nonslip soles. A few months ago I had a run in with my wood stairs and a pair of slippery socks - the result was not pretty. So now, I have to be conscious of my footwear at all times. I will probably find a way to make these nonslip because I like them so much! I just don't want to cover up the "send me" on the sole. So we'll see...maybe I'll use puff paint over the 'send me"! There's an idea....
Reminder Sticker
This little repositionable sticker has a word anagram on it that says Faith - Forsaking All I Trust Him. I might just put this one on my desk in my office - I need a reminder to have faith in the process sometimes!
Scripture card
This is the back of the scripture card for this month, you can see the front of it above in the encouragement kit. I really like the colors and patterns this month.
Mini Poster
The mini poster this month says "If He directs you He'll protect you." Again, I like the design of the poster and it is a great reminder to keep on my desk for those bad days at work.
Verdict: The total cost for this box is $13.00 each month. I think that is great for the items included. The socks alone are worth $8.00 on the Loved + Blessed shop, and an additional $5.00 for the paper goods and encouragement kit seems reasonable. Box value aside, this subscription would be a really great gift subscription for someone you know that might enjoy a little box of encouragement throughout the month!
