Star Trek Uhura Clutch Bag – Value $25?

This is one of my favorite items in the box. I love the design, and I think it’s a great makeup bag. The stitching and material quality are good, too. Here is a closer look at the keychain accessory:

Love it!

The Walking Dead Michonne/Carol Charm Wrap Bracelet – Value $10?

(All the items in this box are exclusive, so I’m estimating values.)

My husband Eric and I love The Walking Dead, and Michonne and Carol are two of my favorite characters, so I liked this charm bracelet!

It has three different settings for adjusting to your wrist measurements, too.

And Eric thought it would be great paired with his favorite prop of all time from the show:

Lil DC Bombshells Wonder Woman Mini Figure – Value $18?

This is an exclusive variant from what I can tell – instead of the yellow accents the standard figure has, this Wonder Woman has gold accents. She measures 3 inches tall, and the paint detail is well-done.

Espionage Cosmetics Borderlands Moxxi Nailwraps – Value $12

level up july 2016-243

Admittedly, I had to look of Mad Moxxi of Borderlands to learn a little bit more about these nail wraps. I’m not up to speed on this fandom, but I can weigh in on the nail wraps, themselves.

These nail wraps are stickers, not actual polish, so they have a high gloss, but they were a little more difficult to apply than nail wraps made from actual polish.

I found the part where you file off the excess sticker a little tricky to do without stretching out the design, but I was still able to apply them pretty well.

Her Universe Fangirls: A Coloring Book For Girls Who Like Stuff + Pencil Set – Value $10?

level up july 2016-237

This set comes with 6 colored pencils and lots of illustrations of various fangirls:

Each “fangirl” has a page with her likes and dislikes, then the following page shows her in action with a quote! I think my favorite fangirl is “Bookish Belle.”

Her Universe Women of Marvel Skater Dress – Value $45?

This is another exclusive design for the box. The illustration goes all around the skirt of the dress. Here is the other side:

The tank part of the dress is a different material so it gives a little more stretch than the skirt part of the dress.

I think this is a flattering style, and should work well for a lot of different body types. I’m not sure if I’m cool enough to rock this look, but I tried! Here it is on:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $120. With this type of box, I think the value really depends on what fandoms you love. Loot Crate revealed the general fandom brands included up front so that definitely helps if you are buying before spoilers come out.

  1. LootCrate just sent me an email that they tried to rebill me for this, but that (thankfully) payment was declined. People who bought this box should check their bank/card/PayPal accounts to make sure they haven’t been charged again.

  2. Props FTW!

  3. (Apropos of nothing in the box, heh.) Liz, are you a leftie? Just wondering because you are holding the cool bat up with your left hand, and very stylishly so, I might add. 😉

  4. Oh my, that Uhura clutch bag is all kinds of awesome! Now I regret not subbing, LOL! And you are adorable in that dress!

  5. I want the awesome bat. Lol

  6. Does the dress come in different sizes or is it one size fits most?

    • It is currently available in sizes XS-XL. I am usually a large at Forever 21, and I went with a large in this dress and it fit well. Hope that helps!

  7. Love that dress, looks great on you Liz. Need to find one for swap

    • Thanks so much!! ❤️

  8. I saw the spoilers and I was like – I have to get this box at the $55 price and your review made me super happy! I love that dress! You look really cute and hip in your outfit!

That bag is out of this world! And it also commemorates the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek! I was looking for awesome 50th Anniversary stuff at C2E2 and found nothing notable- but I would have gone nuts for this bag!

I cannot wait for the dress and plan to wear it when I get it (hopefully soon) for Wizard Comicon coming in two weeks! The bracelet is cool, but man I was thinking that awesome Negan’s bat (forget what he called her) was part of the box and I nearly flipped, but alas…

I don’t really use those nail strip things and I am disappointed this is more of a sticker. Do you just peel it off?

    • Lucille 🙂 I love that replica back and white bat – I had to get it into the review!

    • Thanks, Anne! You are going to love the Star Trek bag – it is such a perfect piece!

The nail strips are pretty easy to remove – just peel off!

  9. I like the bag, but I couldn’t see myself using it. I appreciate your review of the wraps, I only like polish wraps.

If Loot Crate reads this, I would be interested in future boxes if they had:

    The Last Unicorn
    The Neverending Story
    The Lord of Rings
Anything from Raina Telgemeier or a female comic artist
    Big Bang Theory

  10. You look great, Liz!

Cool box, but none of my fandoms. I would love to see more boxes like this.

    • Thanks, Emily!! I hope they do more boxes like this, too!

  11. Liz you look amazing, awesome review.

    • Thanks so much, Delilah! 🙂

  12. Oh, I forgot to say that I think you can definitely work the dress. Your whole outfit is hella cute, and I LOVE those boots.

    • Thanks so much! I pretty much live in those boots in the winter 🙂

  13. I MUST have that Uhura bag. I clicked on your link to buy it immediately, but it’s not there. Is it an exclusive to this box? Because I will buy the whole thing if I have to, just for that clutch. lol. I mean, everything else is cool, but I could live without alla that. heh

    • Yes – sorry I linked to the company that made it, but it is an exclusive to the box. Hope that helps!

      • Thank you, Liz. Going to buy the box now!
