AMEN!! I love this bag!! Also for everyone who does not want to be offended just sign up for Love + Blessed box! Everyone needs to grow up on here! Is it just me, or is Ipsy putting out more and more patterned bags designed for 10 year olds?

With the exception of August’s gourgeously designed bags, can we have more simplistic and sleek? I would have loved to see Black or a Deep Purple bag for October. Add a rhinestone Skull or Black Cat and there you go.

Enough with these are fully tacky bags that we are embarrassed to carry!

You are SO right! Ipsy bags have become so so sooo tacky. Lately they’ve looked like something you would pick up in the kids aisle at Toys R’ Us. They really need to hire some designers with a bit of style. For a company that makes its money from trends, the bags are ridiculously un-chic.

I understand what you are saying, Noelle, but some people are excited about the October bag. I don’t care for it either, but you can’t please everyone all of the time. There have been a few bags I didn’t care for so I gifted them. Besides, who needs that many make-up bags anyway?!

Well first off, technically we pay for them. So whether we need them or not is irrevelent. Some may need them all. Some may give them away. Either way, we pay for them, so what we do with them is our choice.

I would take a guess that they would please MORE of their customers who PAY for these bags if they kept the designs simplistic.

It’s not really fair to say, “Well if you don’t like them, just give them away!”. I hear that a lot and I think it’s a cop-out. When a company is repeatedly making designs that customers feel the need to “give away”, obviously they should open there eyes and realize they need to relook at their designs.

Ofcourse, it could be a part of one big conspiracy for customers to give the bags away so those who get the bags might decide to become new customers? Maybe. Or they just need a new design team or a panel that decides what design would “best fit” the majority of their customers.

I’ll continue to stick with Ipsy because I have been a faithful customer for years. I have had great bags and horrible bags, but you can’t beat any of it for $10. You get what you get. I just wish they would pay more attention their customer feedback.

I am soooo glad they are doing a “theme” bag. I’ve wondered why they don’t do this. I guess after reading all these awful comments, I see why. I hope they continue!

I’m glad they’re doing a theme bag too,I can’t believe how much these women sound like five year olds throwing a temper tantrum ,because they didn’t get what they wanted.Its a bag for Christ sake I haven’t loved all the bags. But I’m ok with that because I want what comes inside the bag .You can’t always get your way sometimes it’s sombody else’s turn.I quote the song I used to sing to my children as they were growing up ..you can’t always get what you want !! Think of it as its not your turn and stop raining on everyone else’s parade and let them enjoy their holloween bag .The end have a great day

Meh. I’m unsubscribing after September’s bag, just so I can get my rewards and call it quits. I prefer Sephora play and I’ve only had 2 months compared to 10 months of Ipsy. Ipsy repeats like crazy, I’m sick of eyeliners and mascaras, ugly lippies, & never getting the hyped up products. Byyyyye Felicia.

Right! I had to unsubscribe to ipsy because I never got the products I wanted, I always got some weird brands I’ve never heard of so I was always like meh about each ipsy bag but I’m never disappointed with my sephora box which is why I cancelled ipsy this month

I love ipsy ,and this glam bags are to die for,but let me tell you that not everyone celebrate halloween and I personally will not keep this bag so by all means that my $10, on the month of october will be a waste then, if this is the case, because I dislike very much this celebration and I do respect others ppls opinion and lifestyles but ipsy shouldn’t be making a design on a special event or celebration and think that everyone will agree with the theme , we are all individuals and I think it is not fair that I have to trash this halloween bag just because ipsy wants to celebrate halloween and I have to loose part of my money, this is my opinion and with all respect I stand behing every word .

The photo shoot is a Wiccan Worship Ceremony. So I guess I will be cancelling. The bag doesn’t bother me nearly as bad a the photo shoot. I loved ipsy… Bummer.

That’s too bad. I wonder who they’ll offend during the winter holidays :/ It’s a shame they didn’t think about that and pick a less religously and culturally sensitive theme for their shoot.

I would contact them to ask whether they will be willing to ship your items in an old ipsy bag rather than the one that offends. I’d be interested to know if they will accommodate! 🙂

Nelsa, I understand and respect your feelings. If you don’t want to spend your money on the October bag, I think you can cancel or suspend your subscription for that month and then just resubscribe for November. Or you could just keep the items and give the bag away. Just a thought.

I hope the Emolia r on there. I don’t like all black and white and could do without the spider. I think those glam like skulls I can’t remember what they r called would have been cuter than a black white with spiders and skulls. I can deal with skulls but think they should bling them out. Want a cute, GIRLIE, BLINGY BAG myself. Like this months was pretty. I got the purple one. Would be cool if sometime we could choose one out of two or three bags. And not limited stock so no stressing over it and trying to get the one u want. I have REALLY been enjoying my bags the last several months. The products inside is what I mean. They bags have been cute. I left a cpl ?s blank and since have had Great bags. I always review in their site also. Truthfully. Thanks so much. Love sneak peaks. Wonder if Sep. not too exciting since not hyping it up as this one. I can’t imagine them skipping a bag that’s what half of its all about. We will get Oct. in a Black mailed? I love the lady on IG that upcycles the mailers and bags into ADORABLE things. Like wedge heals with June bag and the little purse probably for decor made out of pink mailer. They show her art on their site if anyone wants to see gets she does. She has a You Tube channel also showing how she makes things. All should check it out. Something with curl in the name I think. Bad memory. Thanks so much. Love sneak peaks. Lol it’s COOL.

The emojis are an attempt to cover up what the bag for October will look like. I think they have caught on that we live for those sneak peeks on snapchat and they dont want to reveal it completely yet to keep some mystery!!

Ugh, I hate holiday themed bags. I just want a pretty design like this last months. Can they please not or can I opt of a plain or old bag I don’t have? This is rather ugly.

I wonder if they can just use older bags for those that object to the October bag. I know they reuse extras in some ipsy offers; so that should be doable if the logistics of packing them works out.
