The packaging on this box is really top notch - I love the wood-look box! Their website has other month's box contents, and the value is recently consistently over $70.00. If you're curious about the contents of previous month's boxes, I would recommend taking a peek at the slider on the bottom of their website.

One thing to note, and I'm assuming it is because I receive a review box, is that I don't get the monthly edition of GQ that is usually included. So that is an additional value that you won't see in my reviews.

The Gentleman's Box includes a small glossy pamphlet with all of the items you receive in the box detailed, as well as a profile of a featured member. This month the theme is "Our Favorite Artist Formerly Known As."

GB6

Four Fifty Five Pocket Square - Seaton - $15.00

This pocket square is 100% cotton, and is really vibrantly colored. It folds nicely, and looks great in the pocket of a suit jacket.

Filthy Etiquette Tie - Violet - $29.99

This tie is super soft and really hangs nicely. It is made of 100% cotton. It coordinates with the pocket square nicely as well - not too matchy matchy, but close enough that it looks great. These would go great for a late summer wedding with a gray or light tan suit and will go nicely in to the fall with a navy suit as well.

GB7

West End Socks – The Hunter - $15.00

These socks are really nice. I feel like I say that a lot with regard to socks, and maybe it's just because women's socks just aren't as nice as men's! These socks have a band around the middle of the foot part, like my running socks do. The fabric seems like it will hold up really well to washing too!

Sunny Rebel Aspen Sunglasses - $49.00

These sunglasses are really light weight and they sit nicely on my face. That's right, my face. I'm stealing these from my husband. He doesn't wear sunglasses, and I love sunglasses. I was just commenting to him the other day that the cheap pair of sunnies that I purchased for our vacation at the end of this month got smudged so quickly, and my nicer ones don't smudge. Well these ones don't smudge, and they'll look perfect on the beach in Belize! (I'm not heartless though, if he decides he needs some sunglasses, I'll loan them to him.)

Crusader for Men Eye Serum - $32.00

This eye serum is infused with vitamin C, bark and green tea extract, aloe vera, grapeseed oil, and rosehip oil. Gentleman's Box says that it is formulated specifically for men's thicker, coarser skin. I went ahead and tried it out so I could give you a full review.

It comes in a roller ball dispenser, which is a nice way to start working the fluid out from your under eye in a gentle way after a night of no sleep. I found that the first time I used it, it did sting a bit, but I have a very sensitive eye area. The second time, I didn't notice anything but a cooling sensation. I can't promise that you're going to be wrinkle free after using this, but it was a nice eye serum. The brand's website is currently down, but here it is if you're interested in checking it out when it comes back up.

Verdict: This Gentleman's Box is valued at approximately $141. I've consistently said that this box and The Menswear Club are the male solution to PopSugar envy. These two boxes are consistently high value, and packed with items that most men can use at one point or another. Yes, you do get a lot of ties and socks, but it's nice to have a variety to choose from in your closet that you didn't have to shop for, right?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

My son really loved this box (he’s a teen but has to wear shirt/tie/jacket every day for school). The best part are the colors – he’s a Ravens fan so all the “purple rain” colors are perfect for “purple fridays”. He’s a bit too young for the eye serum so I think I’ll take that for myself. I thought the glasses looked really cool but felt kind of cheap. Everything is a great value for a $25 box. They recently sent us an offer to buy any previous boxes for $19 (older than 3 months-not recent boxes) so we stocked up on accessories for the coming school year. They do a great job of mixing things up each month so some boxes are more casual, some are for every day and some are for dress up.
