Each Disney Tsum Tsum Subscription Box contains one small tsum tsum plush (small is a new size currently only available in this subscription) and one coordinating, subscription exclusive mini tsum tsum plush.

My kids have started collecting tsum tsums and enjoy playing with them so we were excited to see what would be featured this month. Disney does not release spoilers for this box.

Here is what we saw when we looked down into the box.

It’s Stitch, in his alien form, and Stitch, in his dog form, from Lilo and Stitch! This is the first time we have seen this happen. This subscription box normally includes friends like Nemo and Dory, Alice and Dinah, and Mowgli and Baloo.

If you are not familiar with this movie, here is Amazon’s plot synopsis:

… On the lush and tropical Hawaiian Islands, an independent little girl named Lilo adopts what she thinks is an innocent puppy, completely unaware that he is a mischievous creature who has escaped from a faraway planet. Stitch takes Hawaii by storm, wreaking havoc and hanging ten while he evades the alien bounty hunters who are bent on recapturing him….

The packaging here is great! It is cute and fun. The outside box fits neatly around the inside box which came in perfect condition. If you are a collector, this is important and Disney does this right.

Here are the tsum tsums out of the box! How adorable is this?

My kids want the tags cut off all their toys first thing. If you look closely, you can see the tags in some of the pictures above. Here is what the tags look like in case you are wondering.

Top, bottom, back. The bottom of tsum tsums have a little bit rougher, but still super soft, touch to give them a little grip and help them stay stacked more easily.

Stitch, in his alien form, is 3 ½ inches long. He has antennae, spines on his back, and an extra set of arms. Stitch, in his dog form, is 7 ½ inches long.

The mini plush usually sell individually for $5.95. The small size is new and currently only featured in this subscription box so an exact price is not available for that size. For reference, the slightly larger medium size, which is 11 inches, usually sells individually for $12.95, so the small should be somewhere in between. So why is this subscription box $24.95? I am not sure, but my best guess is that it is because the small size plush is unique, the mini plush design is exclusive to the subscription, the price includes shipping, and tsum tsums are cute and collectible. Also Disney!

If you are interested in other Disney subscription boxes, the Disney Park Pack Pin Trading subscription box is usually sold out as well, but is available right now. You can see our past reviews of that subscription box here. Disney also recently announced its newest subscription box, the Disney Park Pack: Holiday Edition, which is currently open for new subscriptions. We are super excited about this box as well!

Great review, and the Stitches are sooo cute! I have two mini Stitch Tsum-Tsums, one with cranky eyes and one with a neutral expression. I keep grumpy stitch in my car to absorb all of the bad juju of Northern Virginia traffic and neutral Stitch at work to remind me not to react the insanity. I’m sure I could find a purpose for Alien Stitch…
