Lili Starburst Bracelet

This is my absolute favorite piece in the box. It's right in between delicate and statement, and I even like the mixed metals!

Plus, I really appreciate that Your Bijoux Box included an extender for this bracelet so it could fit more wrist sizes:

Gorgeous!

Margaux Opal Earrings

Your Bijoux Box recommends wearing these statement stud earrings with your summer whites. I'm not sure if they are a good fit for my style, but I already have someone in mind to gift them to!

Giselle Blue Collar

I think this is a fitting piece for a 4th of July themed box, without looking too holiday-specific. Here is a closer look at the detail:

JCat Lip Glaze in French Rose - Value $3

This was a bonus item added to the box this month. This gloss has a good amount of shine and pigment. Here it is swatched:

Verdict: I think this is another good month from Your Bijoux Box. The earrings aren't my style, but I'm in love with the bracelet, so that's OK!

I live near Houston and the North Houston sorting office is the bane of my existence. I had a YBB hang out there for a couple weeks once but broke free right after I contacted her about it so I didn’t need a reship. She’s being proactive with it, so I would cut her some slack on post office issues.

I’ve gotten the box for just over a year and am going to take a break – I love almost everything I’ve gotten, but i feel like I have lots of necklaces to catch up on wearing and the styles have the same feel to them. I expect there will be an irresistible spoiler in a few months and I’ll be resubscribing.

Liz, I received an email from Bijoux Box today. I was wondering why I hadn’t even recieved a shipping notice yet. I still haven’t. Odd because of their email. They wrote

Hello *|MMERGE5|*,

Yesterday we discovered that a July batch of boxes is lost. Your sparkles were in that July 7th batch. Last evening we prepared new boxes and reproduced the shipping labels. Your new box was hand delivered to the Post Office today.

We apologize for this inconvenience. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

Best regards,

Catherine

I also got the above message but also had an issue getting into my account on their web site. I got the following response almost immediately after I emailed them. I got the email about the reshipment before I even contacted them. I appreciate them being proactive and addressing the situation head on.

Hello Kim,

Thank you for your message. I will try to make sense of this confusing situation.

First, you received the re-shipment notice. Your initial July box shipped July 7th, but was never tracked. I carried your re-shipment box, along with 25 other boxes, to the post office earlier today. The USPS tracking number for your July box is 9400111XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX . There is no tracking information at this time. This box will be scanned tonight at the North Houston USPS facility, just prior to release. Tomorrow you will see your box at https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tLabels=9400111XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

It has been nearly two years since we experienced this sort of loss. Since the last loss, many thousands of boxes have successfully reached their owners. It is simply aggravating to lose any boxes.

She also added they are relaunching their website in a few weeks. and added the following:

We have outgrown our current site. We are in the final stages of testing our new site, on a new platform. Within the next two weeks you will receive a request to reset your password for the new Your Bijoux Box! We hope that you will be as excited about the new site as we are.

I apologize for this confusion. Please let me know of any questions you may have.

With kind regard,
Catherine

Thanks Kim. I was going to email them as well because I couldn’t log in either. I found the email odd for the simple fact that I never recieved the shipping notice July 7th when they stated it was shipped. Then they didn’t give me a tracking again so it’s just very odd. The email to you seems very defensive…..but then good when giving you the info about the site…..I don’t understand yours. Yours also says prior to release. Sometimes people just need to read things before they hit the send. It can cause a person to cancel. A simple apology and tracking info would have been the best in the first portion. I agree though, the website really needed to be updated, I just wish they would of notified us. They send out beautiful emails usually, lol. The products are also beautiful. I hope the new site is beautiful too.

Kim

I still haven’t received mine. This is only my second month so should I start panicking?

I ordered because I saw the necklace and HAD to have it. I can think of 4 different strapless dresses to wear it with immediately (and would pay $35 for it alone so I’m seeing the other pieces as bonuses).

That said I’ve been touch and go with YBB in the past but Wantable has disappointed me recently so maybe it’s time to switch back?

I loved everything in the box, but sadly, the necklace does not lay flat for me. I have a short, chubby neck and the pieces at either end lift when I tried to wear this. 🙁

Mary, just FYI, the extender on the bracelet will also work for some necklaces 🙂

I loved all three pieces, very beautiful for the festivities. Utah celebrates the pioneers coming into the Salt Lake Valley so on the 24th of July its another firework Holiday for the State. So the Whole month is Red, White & Blue, BBQ’s and celebrating. I got tons of Compliments
