I LOVE the colorfx leave in conditioner. It’s the best leave in I’ve ever tried. I’ve been buying it at retail ever since receiving it from Glossy Box so I couldn’t resist ordering 2 of those!

Must… hold… back… Just cancelled Sephora, cancelled Birchbox last month, letting Glossybox run out in October, am on serious product overload. I’ll just be getting Target and Amazon boxes that I want. As much as I want to buy one or eight of these, I don’t need more stuff. It’s a cool option if there was a high value box or one you really loved (or both).

Does anyone know if these are the boxes we will be receiving from the buy one, get two free promotion?

Oh I’m so very proud of myself for resisting! This week has been crazy for me in terms of subs! Got the gilt city deal from yesterday, got the Bare Minerals mysteyry bag, & also signed up for beautyfix on top of all the subs I already got!! Ugh it’s getting so bad that my makeup won’t fit on my vanity anymore! 🙁 anybody got any makeup organizing tips that won’t leave much clutter? ?

I added & deleted the Fashion Forward & the Coffee Addict versions of the box to & from my cart about 15 times ??? before I finally closed the browser… the fight to resist temptation is SO real!! ??

the struggle not to purchase is soooo real!!!

I’m so with you! I would have bought if I could have gotten 2 different boxes for the lower price, but I’m stubborn and refuse to pay that couple of dollars more by having to buy separately. Stay strong! LOL

Well, got two of them. lol

Got the one with the scrub and one of the french ones I think, a summer one? I havent subbed to glossybox before so I figure why not try it at a reduced rate and be able to pick which box I wanted. I really only want a couple items from each box but they cover the cost and the rest I can swap. Well, hopefully anyway, I hate having things go to waste.

Last time they had the sale, each box was $15 and I have bought a few. They have sold out majority of them, but seem to put back the box again, lol. Vive La France box itself is very cute. Just a heads up for people who are getting the solid perfume. The packaging is lovely in a gift-able box, but the scent is very weak. I put it behind my ears and wrist and I had to constantly put my nose against my wrist to smell it, lol. Applying it in 4 spots, the product lasted about a month or so. I have heard in general, if you have a dryer skin, the scent does not last as long as oily skin folks.

Okay, I’m giving up…..
I tried purchasing the Fashion Forward “You’re Glowing” box, but when I click on it, Glossybox’s homepage keeps appearing. So, I tried to purchase the Frosted Beauty “Lashed Out” box, and after entering my info, I noticed there was no button to complete the purchase other than a “Become a Subscriber” button. I’m already a subscriber, and don’t want to purchase a 2nd sub.
My thought is, when I encounter weird things like this when trying to purchase something online, then it’s not meant to be. Oh well… maybe next time.

I believe the “become a subscriber” button is just the “place order” button and doesn’t add an actual subscription. It was the same confusing button last time they had this sale and was determined that’s just the order button.

Crystal

Thank you, that is very helpful. I almost didn’t place my order when I saw what the submit button was labeled as.

Amanda

So tempting. But I did the Bare Minerals deal yesterday. And I’m trying to not go too crazy.

Preach! Same here dude!

I believe that sized sample of Glamglow retails for at least $20 so any of those boxes would be worth the $16 (or discounted 2 for $14.50) price tag.

The last time they did this the boxes were $15 each. Interesting. I had purchased 3 boxes that time. Had no problems with 2 of them, received an email that they oversold the 3rd and had a heckuva time getting that squared away. Their CS isn’t very good & take days to respond. It was over a month before I finally got that last one. (Since I had purchased it)
It makes me wary of buying one this time around. None of the combo’s really scream to me tho, maybe that’s a good thing. But…I’ll look through them again to make sure. 🙂

Last time I, along with several others, purchased a version of one box and was shipped a different one. When I contacted CS I was told the description said “may vary.” Which was true–when they changed it days after people had already purchased boxes with specific colors/scent in the description. I avoid GB now.

Complete bait and switch. So unethical.

I’m thinking Christmas presents. Are there any in particular anyone would recommend? I haven’t ever subscribed to Glossybox but I’m thinking a couple of these might be good for my sister. She likes high end things.

Janet

I really like the Julep Luxe Up Your Lips treatment/gloss. It alone has a retail value of $24 I think, so I selected a couple boxes with that in it. I liked the Biossance that came in those boxes, as well. GlamGlow is also a higher end brand, but I think it may be sold out.

I couldn’t resist. I got Vive La France – CrĂšme, Vive La France – Haute, Vive La France – Chic and Summer in the City – Happy Hour. The only bad thing is I ended of with 3 De BruyĂ©re Paris Red Lipgloss and 3 Lollipops Make Up Paris Nail Lacquer in Voyage Ă  Paris, which I already had both.

Why do I feel like Glossybox will out of business within a few months? Their past promos have just reeked of desperation and now they *still* have boxes left from 6+ months ago…. A shame. They used to be my favorite but I dropped them many months ago when the quality/value went downhill….

Reply ButtonReply

Jami?

I get that feeling about them also. I almost signed up for the buy 1 month get 2 past boxes deal but then decided against it because the quality has somewhat decreased. Also, I can’t stand them putting out a spoiler saying something will be in that month’s box and then turns out to only be a variation.

Woah I just need to avoid this site! June was extra spendful so I’m trying to be better. I already got the Amazon dog snack box and am thinking about the Gilt deal! Phew, what to do??? 😉

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I can’t add more than one different box to save my life. I add a box, click back, add a different box and when it’s added, the first box isn’t there. I swear I have some brain cells that still function, but haven’t a clue what I’m doing wrong. Anyone else with this problem? Or can someone give me instructions on how to add more than one? TIA!

Becky

I did the same thing. Think in order to use the FAVES code, they have to be the SAME box otherwise kt appears they are $16 each and must be bought seperately. Stupid IMHO and why they have to make it difficult for us who are actually helping them get rid of inventory!!! ?

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Agreed! I don’t want 2 of the same box. Dumb. Just as well…this will save me money. LOL

KC

Oh, well that would definitely be a PITA if that is the case. :/

KC

You have to place the orders one at a time, unfortunately.

Ann

Thank you! So I have to buy 2 of each one? I wanted 2 different ones for the lower price. BAH!

Dea

No. Disappointed that you can’t redeem glossydots for these.

I predict that the box with Simple Sugars (the last one) will sell out first.

Jennifer

Me too, that sugar scrub looks decent and I like Face Stokholm products. The Glamglow will go quickly too.
