ps-i-love-you-jun-letter

This is the letter that came with my package. June's theme is all about enjoying summer!

ps-i-love-you-jun-wristlet

ps-i-love-you-jun-wristlet-2

Adrienne Vittadini Charging Wristlet - Value $60 (on sale at Boscov's for $30)

What a cute wristlet! I love wristlets because when I'm using one I feel so unencumbered. I like that you can charge your phone in it, too! Although I'm not 100% sure how that works yet.

ps-i-love-you-jun-snack

Second Nature California Medley - Value $3.50

This is the kind of snack that makes me truly happy. Dried fruits and nuts, straight from nature (almost).

ps-i-love-you-jun-nails

Milani Nail Polish - Value $3.98

This is a cute color for summer! It matches the wristlet a little too much for my tastes, but worn independently I think it will look good.

Nail Polish Remover Pads - Value $2.50?

I couldn't find these exact pads for sale online, so I'm basing the value off a similar product. I haven't had the chance to use these yet, but I am always happy to have nail polish remover wipes in my purse. I always seem to mess up my manicure when I'm out doing things, never at home where the remover is handy.

ps-i-love-you-jun-balm

Eos Vanilla Bean Lip Balm - Value $4.77

This is actually pretty funny. I love EOS lip balms, but since I get so many balms from subscription boxes, I never buy it. I have actually never received EOS in a box until now! But when I finally get it, it's in a tube? Where's their signature sphere?

ps-i-love-you-jun-blue

Sonoma Everyday Tee - Value $22 (on sale at Kohl's for $15.40)

You asked for it, you got it! Here I am, modeling the clothes. I started with this box because t-shirts are pretty non-intimidating. That's my evil dog Ruthie under my arm. This tee shirt is soft and comfortable. Light colors are not super flattering on me, but this one is fine and will get a lot of use.

ps-i-love-you-jun-pink

Sonoma Everyday Tee - Value $22 (on sale at Kohl's for $15.40)

This box included two of these tees in different colors. I dislike coral on me, which is why I couldn't take a decent picture and not be making a face. Also the heat index when we took these pictures was 114, so I think we were losing it a little. In any case, I'm glad to have these tees in any color because they are nice quality and will be great for layering when this awful heat dies down.

Verdict: This was a great box from PS i love you! I'm impressed with the value of this month's contents, retailing at somewhere around $120 and with a sale value around $76. That's awesome for a $47 box! I feel like this box so far has been really good at providing quality basics to treat myself with. I love the wristlet! (And of course the lip balm.)

Really that coral looks lovely on you. This is a great box. If it were still available I would purchase it 😉 Thanx for the review!

Heather

I think the coral is very flattering against your skin tone! Ruthie is adorable, surely she can’t be evil! I love the trend of accessorizing with small dogs on MSA. 😀

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Heather! Ruthie’s adorable-ness is what lures you in so she can bite you. Maybe we should do a “Dogs of MSA” calendar for next year!

Sherry

I really love that coral on you!!!

Anna

Aww thanks Sherry!

the t-shirts are similar to my favorite style that i get at Old Navy, literally i wear them every day and have more than a dozen of them! :p

love the modeling photos, and as everyone else has said, you look great in coral! it’s hard to change your own opinions about what colors you should wear, though. i am the opposite of you in that i love bright colors and hate dark colors, but i’ve tried to branch out and try new ones. one thing you rarely catch me wearing though is a solid red! it’s just not appealing to me. i love pink and blue!

looks like a fun box, i’ll be interested to see what they come up with in the next reviews 🙂

Thanks Cece!

You look super cute in the coral. Sometimes we look cute in colors we don’t actually like. You look good in the blue too. I just adopted a dog that looks just like Ruthie. Is she dachshund/chihuahua? Or something else?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Jen! Ruthie is a min-pin (miniature pinscher).

Sarah

I bought a 30 pack of those nail polish remover wipes at Marshalls for $3. Under that price it would make them 10 cents a piece. Im not sure where else they sell, perhaps they could be more expensive elsewhere.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa Marie

Thanks for modeling! You look great in the coral top. I had a little minpin girl and she mellowed out a lot as she got older. She lived to be 16.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Lisa Marie! OMG I hope Ruthie chilllllllls sooooooon. She’s about 10.

Joy

I’m so happy you modeled the clothes; It really helps. You look gorgeous✨and I must say both colors actually look great on you with your coloring! Ruthie cracks me up!?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Awww thanks Joy! Glad you like my little evil football shaped dog, too. ???

Gemma

I think the coral looks great on you! I like it with that lip color too.

I’m surprised by how much they are spending on shipping, wow.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Gemma! Wow, good catch on the postage, that’s a lot! They do ship priority so I’m guessing that’s why. They’re also pretty new I think, so maybe they will catch a break when they get more subscribers. In these pics I think I’m wearing Mirenesse lipstick and the shade is London.

great review and you look so beautiful.

Thank you so much for showing the clothes Anna! I have been a Lane Bryant shopper for 15+ years and literally own no other brands. Seeing you model all these subscriptions is making me think I can rock some others! You definitely need to wear the coral top, it flatters your complexion nicely. We all have preconceived notions of what looks good on us and need to step out of our comfort zones!

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Jann! You can totally rock looks way outside the Lane Bryant box! One of my favorites is the asos curve website, they have a wealth of styles for every taste. I sometimes feel like hiding my body, we all do, but since I can’t do that, might as well put something stylish on it! Good luck! Let me know what you come up with!

Lawden

You look so beautiful! My goodness those colors look incredible with your hair and skin! You have no reason to be wary of taking photos, the camera obviously loves you! As always, fabulous review!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Lawden!

Loba

Love that blue tee on you!

This is an interesting box. I like the included items (although it us weird the EOS is in a tube and not the sphere) but it doesn’t excite me. I’ll have to see a couple more reviews before I’d consider subscribing…

Anna

Thanks Loba!

Alyce

Well honey, you might not like coral, but that color definitely lights up yours complexion and goes great with your dark hair! Thanks for being courageous and taking the plunge of wearing the clothes, nice to actually see them on a body rather than laid out on a table.

Anna

Thanks Alyce!

Katy

EOS in a tube? Katy wants! Its the only balm I used and the eggs are not jean pocket friendly. Lol. I really like the concept and curation of this box. Id love to see it available for all sizes.

Geordana R

Your Ruthie looks like my Mini Pin Lily!!! Absolutely adorable!! Great pics!! The coral looks awesome on you!

Anna

Thanks Geordana!

Beth

Omg thank you for putting yourself out there. I am the same way. You made my day. And always love when furry family members are added. ?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Beth I’m so glad. Thank you!

Gigi

I think you look fabulous in coral!

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Gigi!

Nichelle

I actual like the coral too, haaha your “evil dog Ruthie” looks tame.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Lol! Would you like to adopt her? J/k… We love her, but she is bitey and barkey.

Reply ButtonReply

carey

I actually like the coral on you better than the other. lol It brings out your face and your hair complements it. 🙂

Have you found there to be any months with anything a little more “racey” or punky unique? I’m not looking to flash alot of skin but would love a torrid type top. Not sure if you have Torrid stores near you but they have an absolutely awesome selection of plus sized clothing. I used to kinda shop at lane bryant and avenue but found torrid to be so much more edgy and flattering.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Hi Carey! This is only my second box, so no, nothing too edgy yet. Have you seen my Gina Louise reviews by chance? That box has some things that you might like. Thank you for the compliments!

Melody

I really love the coral on you. It looks fabulous.

BONNY ADAMS

I liked every item. You look great in both tee shirts! They look so soft and comfy!

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Bonny! I love that name, btw.

Reply ButtonReply

Kathy

Thank you for modeling; it’s great seeing what items really look like. And I think you look lovely in coral.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Thanks Kathy! It’s probably just a preference on my part, but that sure is nice to hear.

Reply ButtonReply

Ali

I definitely understand feeling intimidated putting a picture of yourself up, but it’s great to see what the clothes look like on. And you look great 🙂 Those tees look both comfy and good on you!

Jessvii

Personally I think you look great in coral! Thank you for taking and sharing these photos!

Thanks Jessvii! You’re the best!
