This review of of Isle Box's Summer Season Box. This is the information card that came in the package, detailing the items enclosed. I like their packaging a lot, and I LOVE that their filler material is dried moss! How clever and eco-friendly!
Wind Pouch - Value $79.99
Whoa! It's one of those inflatable hammocks! I have never tried one before, or even seen one in person, but I have been eyeing them based on what I've seen of them online. They look so cool! And now I own one! I'm so excited about this! I can't wait to take naps everywhere I go now!
Aloe Ice Sunburn Relief Jelly - Value $8
We have received this sunburn relief gel in subscription boxes before, and my husband gives it one giant pink thumbs up! He said it took the sting right out and helped prevent peeling. I'm glad to have more!
Aloe Up Pro SPF 30 - Value $5.49
We have also tried this sunscreen before thanks to subscription boxes. It's effective and stays on pretty well during water sports.
Colorado Clear Amphora - Value ?
This is a really cool bottle of water. The water is full of natural minerals and electrolytes, so it's very high quality water to start with, but the cool part is the container. Instead of your standard planet-killing plastic bottle, this container is 100% biodegradable within 1 year. The odd thing is that I have no idea how much these sell for because they do not appear to be for sale online anywhere.
Platy Water Tank - Value $34.95
This is a really handy, lightweight means of carrying around or collecting a couple of gallons of extra water. I think the design with the zip top is ingenious! It also is BPA free and mold / bacteria resistant!
The Pint by Stable Goods Co. - Value $32
This insulated cup is BPA free and can be converted from a bottle to a cup with removable parts for easy cleaning. How cool is that? This is definitely coming with us on our next camping adventure!
Verdict: Isle Box is fantastic, and this was the first seasonal box I received from them. I am so happy! It had such great contents, all perfect for summer. I know we will use everything! The value of all the items adds up to about $160 (plus the value of the water amphora), which is great for the $125 purchase price. We love Isle Box!
