This letter was included in my box this month. Let's Sparkle for the 4th!
Here's a little bit about how this subscription works. Basically, you pay your styling fee and receive your box full of clothes and accessories. You have three days to decide what you would like to keep and what you want to return. They send a return envelope so you can send back anything you don't want to keep, and the postage is pre-paid so you don't have to pay to return things. You're charged for what you do keep. It's that simple!
This is my invoice for the package. The retail prices are listed, but as a Bling Box member, I get a special VIP discounted price on the items sent. If I choose to keep everything in the box, I get a 20% discount on the whole thing. And of course, my styling fee is deducted from whatever I decide to keep. This might be confusing to you since my styling fee has been waived, but normally this line item would have your styling fee ($49) deducted. In this case, the original retail price for all the items was $363. If I keep everything in the box, my outstanding cost is only $218.40!
Gina Louise Embroidered Top - Price to keep $40
This top is PERFECT for summer, and it's a Gina Louise original design! I love how funky her stuff is! This is lightweight and breezy, too.
JM Tunic - Price to keep $45
This tunic is interesting, and I can see how it would be an easy win for some people. For me, however, the combination of long sleeves and closed neckline is a deal breaker. I'm not wild about the pattern, either. This will have to go back.
Rivet JM Top - Price to keep $45
I am slowly working my way into modeling these clothes for you, so thank you for your support and patience. I really love this top, but the long sleeves! We had a heat index of 114 degrees when this picture was taken. BUT, my husband loves it so I'm keeping it.
Peachcock Rhinestone Leggings - Price to keep $40
I love the rhinestones on these leggings! What a pretty design! White does nothing for my legs, particularly, but with a skirt or dress, I think these leggings could add the perfect amount of sparkle.
Flag Scarf - Price to keep $20
Living in the South most of my life has made the concept of summer scarves pretty foreign to me. But can I resist an American flag scarf? You know, Veteran's Day *is* coming... I think I have to keep this one.
Glitter Ballet Flats - Price to keep $35
These shoes are really pretty, and I kind of want to keep them. So I will! I don't have anything else like them.
Flag Aviator Sunglasses - Price to keep $8
These shades are incredible. Welcome to the cornerstone of my summer look.
Handmade Patriot Crystal Drop Pendant - Price to keep $20
This necklace is really glittery and pretty! It's not my usual style, though, so I'm a little on the fence about keeping it.
Gold Rhinestone X Cuff - Price to keep $20
I love this bracelet! I've already worn it a couple of times and have received tons of compliments on it! It's substantial but kind of delicate, which is a look I totally love.
I wasn't expecting this! A gift! It also looks like the membership price / styling fee is reduced to $20 per month after you've been a subscriber for three months!
This was my free gift from Gina! A coin purse, nail polish, and some holiday-themed toe spacers! How fun and thoughtful!
Verdict: What I really wanted to do was to model everything all at once so you would get the full effect, but the heat wouldn't allow it. I know they're not meant to be worn all together, but wow! What a lot of red, white, and bling! I love my Gina Louise Bling Box subscription. She sends me really unique stuff every month, and that's what I enjoy most. This box was all about the holiday, so it deviated a little from my usual style, but there's still lots of great stuff in here that I am totally keeping. I never thought a pair of novelty sunglasses could make me so happy, but here we are!
What do you think of the Gina Louise Bling Box? Are you going to give them a try?
