Gentleman’s Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon – July 2016

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Gentleman’s Box is a monthly subscription box for men “providing the essential elements suited for today’s gentleman.”

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Gentleman’s Box

The Cost: $25.00/month

COUPON: Use coupon code MSA10 to save $10 off of your first month of a  month-to-month Gentleman’s Box subscription.

The Products: High quality, unique men’s accessories

Shipping: Free for U.S., their FAQ page says that there is an additional charge for outside of the U.S.

The packaging on this box is really top notch – I love the wood-look box! Their website has other month’s box contents, and the value is recently consistently over $70.00. If you’re curious about the contents of previous month’s boxes, check out my previous reviews!

One thing to note, and I’m assuming it is because I receive a review box, is that I don’t get the monthly edition of GQ that is usually included. So that is an additional value that you won’t see in my reviews.

The Gentleman’s Box includes a small glossy pamphlet with all of the items you receive in the box detailed, as well as a profile of a featured member. This month the theme is “Our Favorite Fashion Mogul.”

Gentlemen’s Box also included a coupon for your first month of Debonaire Scent free!

William & Sterling No Show Socks – 10.00 (approximately $11.01 USD)

These socks are meant to facilitate the ‘no sock’ look with the comfort of still wearing socks = no blisters and no sweaty, smelly shoes. The design on these is great and they seem a lot more likely to stay up than the traditional shoe liners.

Nikolas Ryan “Navy Jack” Pocket Square – $19.99

This pocket square is made from microfiber, and isn’t extraordinarily shiny. The fact that it is such a versatile fabric means that you can wear this with different styles and fabrics. The colors are perfect for summer too – pair this with a navy or grey suit and you’re set for a wedding, or a nice tan blazer and you’re set for a night out.

Kiko Leather Wallet – $45.00

Subscribers are amassing quite a collection of Kiko with this box – which is fine with me because it’s all high quality!

This leather wallet feels nice and supple, and looks like it will hold up to regular use quite well. Wallets with a clear ID window are perfect for ease of use too!

Gentlemen Essentials Leather Shoe Horn – $25.00

This shoe horn is made of soft, cognac colored leather. There’s not a whole lot to be said for a shoe horn, but they are a nice tool to help get ready in the morning!

Balla Body Powder – $6.00

Yep, so I’m pretty sure we all get the innuendo here – this powder is (as Birchbox says) “targeted squarely at your nether regions.” This powder is a travel size, which makes it perfect for those summer vacations you have scheduled.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $101.00 – which is outstanding for the cost of the box. I’ve said it many times before, but Gentleman’s Box is the male version of PopSugar as far as values go. The products vary each month, but they’re always really useful. I think this is one of the best boxes out there for men for sure.

Have you tried Gentleman’s Box yet?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
