Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my style profile is “T-Shirt and jeans.”

I've been subscribing March 2013 and in general, I'm very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value - especially the t-shirts. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Wainscott Polo

This month was a casual month - which is my ideal kind of style. I received 3 shirts and a hat. My first shirt was this polo shirt. It was a thicker material - but it definitely felt higher quality than any of the other items this month.

Buckles and I tried to take some photos for you all - but he wasn't in the mood for a photo shoot! I liked the fit of the shirt - I don't wear polo shirts, pretty much ever, but it'll be good to have one ready if needed.

Killick Henley

The next item is my favorite of this month's items. This navy striped henley was really soft and not too busy. I have one henley that I wear pretty often, so I'll have to add this to the collection.

This is easily my favorite - and probably the shirt I'll wear most.

Blackwall Tee

My last shirt was this basic off-white t-shirt. It was SUPER thin and breezy.

This will probably be one that I wear around the house because it was so thin that I was worried, in the right light, that you could see through it!

Fairway Black Dad Hat

The last item was a first for me from Five Four. We got a hat! I'm very big on hats, so I loved getting a new option in a box. The only issue with getting hats in subscription boxes is that they're almost always snap back or this pull-to-tighten style (which makes sense) - but I'm all about fitted hats. With that said, I liked the hat - but didn't love it. The hat was shallow, and I know I have a big head and a lot of hair, but it was almost sitting on top of my head, unlike my other hats.

Verdict: The awesome summer boxes continue from Five Four Club! I'm very much a t-shirt wearing guy, so collections like this are perfect for me. The hat wasn't my favorite, but it will absolutely work in a pinch. My boxes have been better and better since I've spent the time rating my collections each month - so don't forget to go in and rate your package in your dashboard! In my experience, this will help create a better delivery for you.

Very true! I’ll keep in my ‘only at home’ pile of clothing.
