The Stripe Outfit - Value $48
This is the outfit that I chose this month for my ten-year-old. One thing I will say about FabKids is that they have no shortage of boys' tees with wacky graphics on them! So, when I get the option to select shirts with a more traditional pattern, I tend to take it. As always, both pieces are soft and well-made, perfect for play.
The Awesome Outfit - Value $48
This outfit is for my eight-year-old. If you go to FabKids' site and look at "The Awesome Outfit," you will see a black tee-shirt (that says "awesome") and grey shorts. I wanted to draw your attention to this because I found this aspect of FabKids' site a little tricky. If they have the size you want in stock, you can get almost any tee and shorts combination you want, but you have to know where to look. In this case, I wanted the tee from "The Shark Attack" outfit, but with their black "harem" shorts. On most outfits, they have what they call color options, but when you select different colors, you may be selecting a different item altogether. Long story short, I was able to get this combination by going to The Awesome Outfit and changing my color options. It would be cool if this could somehow be less confusing.
Verdict: Confusing website aside, FabKids is awesome! Their clothes, especially their bottoms, are all very well-made, and their tees are super soft. Their knit shorts are also really soft, and even when they offer more structured clothing, it's usually quite comfortable. Everything fits true to size, for the most part. My sons like the clothes because they are comfortable and stylish. Plus we got almost $100 worth of clothes for about $60! What more could we ask for?
