I subscribed to Birchbox too – but I dropped them like a hot skillet once I discovered the Essence Box. Loved the delightful surprises. Finally found my facial cleanser. There is a race to see who gets to the mailbox first, between me and my daughter. I’m thinking about starting her with her own Essence box.
I get Essence and they bill on the 20th of each month for the next box. So you will get the August box. July box I believe was by the 20th of June. I have a friend who subscribed for a $1 in July too and is getting her first box in August.
I tried a box and I think they were really good. A very good value. I am not into hand creams, though. I might re-sub again next month depending on the spoilers. I dropped birchbox, too. Right now I am really loving beautyfix.
I’m not the target audience, but the box I got was great. Other than a leave on conditioner I was able to use everything in the box. My hair is fine and the conditioner wold be better for thicker, curly hair. It was a great value as well.
I am not the target audience for this box, but I have been reading the reviews and spoilers and they’ve been doing a really good job lately. Lots of stuff that anyone could use.
I’m not their target audience either, but I’ve been subscribed for 5 months, and have loved all of their boxes. I also subscribe to a lot of other WOC boxes, and they’re great. As long as the products appeal to you, and you think you’ll like them, I say who cares… try it out!
