BoxyCharm Subscription Box Review – July 2016

Eh, got the brush. only the third brush I’ve gotten this month….beauty box 5 seems to send them a lot, and i think the other one was from Ipsy? didn’t really need one, much less three! nice brush i guess. And since i guess the ofrapro counts as two items (understandably) i got eye shadow lip gloss oil and….a brush. ah first world problems! Still happy with tbe box, would have been happier with eye liner!

I love this month! Z pallet with 6 pans, ice blue eyeliner,. Lip gloss, hair oil!!!!!! The lip gloss l love the shade, texture stays on. Eyeshadows are great colors. Hair oil works great. Eyeliner makes my eyes stand out! Just got today along with my subscription box/bags.

oye, there are a lot of Jenn’s on here. :p I got the brush instead of eyeliner too. Anyone want to swap? I also had a broken pan of shadow so I emailed cs. I’d be surprised if they send me a whole new z-palette, but it would be nice to get something (esp since the pan that broke up was the one I’d want to use the most!). 🙂 I’m also surprised the z-palette is basically cardboard? Given the retail price, I was expecting something a little more sturdy. The lip gloss is in such a pretty bottle! But I wish the color was a little lighter. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a lip shade from a box that wasn’t in the bright pink to red range! Interesting box overall… nothing I love but good overall value. The dang liner was what I was looking forward to the most though! ha

Just received my box today, and I’m so glad I got the Mally eyeliner instead of the brush. I have way too many brushes as it is! I hope everyone who got the brush and would rather have the eyeliner is able to find someone to swap with!

Aw, man, I got the brush instead of the eyeliner too. A brush should not really be swapped in for other items imo, it’s pretty lame. And one of my eyeshadows was completely crushed and so the z-palette is covered in eyeshadow dust. I guess I can use the brush to try and clean it off. :-/

This is my fav box yet! Now I have somewhere to put all those loose ones I got (I gave a couple away) but I love the oil, my daughter has super thick hair and kind of corse but not after 6 dimes worth did I mention long too lol. I put some on my dogs and it made them shiny and soft (they are chihuahuas aka spoiled rotten) only thing I didn’t care for was the tint of the lip gloss I’m more of a natural color lip person. Boxy charm has never disappointed me yet.

Just received mine today and so happy to have gotten the brush! I usually like eyeliner, but ice blue is not a color I want to try to pull off. I have light eyelashes (interpretation: I look sickly without darker eyeliner and mascara) so I need eyeliner to be darker. Love the box, and very excited about the palette!

For those of you that didn’t get the Mally eyeliner it’s on sale for $9 .00 at Ulta in Ice Blue I just ordered it wish I would have known before subscribing to this box but it’s ok oh and I used my $3 points from ulta so total cost was $6 for this same exact liner so I’m happy

Should have saved my $21 got my box got the stupid brush wanted the liner don’t care for the palette I tint use eye shadows the argan oil might be ok didn’t smell like argan oils I’ve smelled cancelled I won’t use this box and the lipgloss was ok very thin not too pigmented at all wears like a stain I should have just ordered the malley eyeliner for $18 & saved $3 very disappointed

I like the eyeliner more than I thought I would. I’ve been using it on the lower lid to give a little pop – makes me look more awake lol. The gloss is still more bold than I would like, but I can tone it down to a more manageable level.

“Mally’s line is awesome and I only want eyeliner not a brush” lol if you knew the lone then you would recognize the brushes..

I am thrilled to be getting that magnetic pallet. I plan on putting the 2 make up geek shadow pans in there that I received from Boxycharm a few months ago and also the Offra banana powder pan I received. I’ve sampled an Offra shadow before and it’s one of my favorites. This box is very exciting for me 😀

I’d really like this box mainly for the magnetic eyeshadow holder- always wanted that! I’m disappointed there isn’t a coupon though. Everyone else has coupons!!

I wanted the brush sp bad, of course I ended up with the eyeliner. Honestly the only thing I’m excited about is the magnetic palette. With that said I didu a e the hair oil yesterday and was impressed, so tha k god for that.

OMG I want the Z-palette! I was going to buy a new one for almost the same price. If I subscribe today, would I get this box? I am unfamiliar with BoxyCharm.

Curious why you’re not excited to receive Mally eyeliners? I have never received one but adore her I got a eye shadow crayon from BB and love it for days I;m much too lazy to a full eye look on.

Hoping I get the Mally eyeliner and not the brush!

Just got the email mine has shipped today. I’ve been getting Boxycharm since February an I use everything that I Get. I hope I Get the eyeliner. Brush is ok. I must have about 50 brushes.

didn’t get boxycharm this month, and no regrets. I liked my first two boxes, But I followed someone else’s advice in a previous post’s comments to wait for the spoilers before I get it each month. Nothing in this month’s box I would have truly enjoyed, and I’m not put off by the box either by paying for something I’m not happy with. Maybe next month will be another win for me. Hope everyone who got theirs enjoyed it!

It is hard for me to enjoy Boxycharm anymore. I purchased a six month sub last November. The first box I received was December. I planned to cancel once I received my sixth box in May, but they charged me for another six months. When I contacted them regarding the error and to request a refund, I was told no refund. They acknowledged it was their fault that I did not start with the November box instead of December and mailed me an old box from last Nov in May. It was the last day or two in November when I joined so I was not overly surprised to not receive the Nov box. How was I to know? To recap, I was forced to pay for another six months I didn’t want and to accept as my original sixth box a box that was already six months old. I have such a lack of respect for them now that it is impossible to enjoy the boxes I was forced to pay for even though the whole thing was their fault. BEWARE–horrible customer service!!!

I got the brush instead of the eyeliner and I am SUPER happy because I would never wear that blue eyeliner! Other then that I will use EVERYTHING and that lip gloss is so pretty I didnt think I’d like it but I do!

Got my shipping email today even though it started it’s journey a few days ago. lol Scheduled for Monday delivery for me. Can’t wait, this might be my best box of the month! Popsugar was a bust for me totally, my LaRitzy box was full of a leaky product and I havent gotten any other boxes yet this month. I re-subbed primarily for the palette since I was in the market for one anyway. SO win for me on this box! woohoo

I usually like what I get from Boxy charm. This month though is not good for me. There’s really nothing there that I will use.

Boxycharm.was one of tbe first boxes i tried, and it has consistently been my fave. i’ve tried a bunch of others and nothing else compares. i’ve gotten enough brishes lately so i just hope i get the eyeliner?
