Each box comes with a card detailing the items included with pictures.

beautyfix-june-2016-serum

Dr. Hauschka Night Serum - FULL SIZE! Value $60

WOW! I don't think I've ever received a full-size Dr. Hauschka item in a box before! And a serum just makes it that much better! And I'm a fan of this brand - it's one of those natural beauty brands that I'm always thrilled to see in a box.

This serum is a lightweight, oil-free formula. Even though it was lightweight, it took a few minutes to dry completely on my face. (At first, I was worried it was going to have a slightly tacky finish, but completely absorbed after a few minutes.) And I found it to be gentle on my skin, too!

beautyfix-june-2016-glytone

Glytone Acne Treatment Spray – Back and Chest - 2 oz Value $20

While this item isn't a fit for my skincare needs, I think it is a smart inclusion for the summertime. I'll be passing this along.

beautyfix-june-2016-eye

Neova Cu3 Intensive Lip Repair - FULL SIZE! Value $22

This lip balm is moisturizing and it leaves a light shine. I would never pay $22 for a clear lip balm no matter how great it is, but I'm always happy to get one at deep discount in a subscription box!

beautyfix-june-2016-cellulite

DS Laboratories Oligo.DX Cellulite Reducing Gel - FULL SIZE! Value $39

I'm always up for trying anything that fights cellulite, so I gave this a try immediately. Unlike most other cellulite treatment lotions I've tried, with this one, you don't have to massage it into your skin. The other difference is that you can't use other lotions/products where ever you apply it.

I think that's a bit of the challenge for me in self-tanner season, so I may end up saving this for fall/winter.

The formula itself is good. The lotion absorbed almost immediately, and the scent was faint.

beautyfix-june-2016-avene

Avene Micellar Lotion - FULL SIZE! Value $20

This Micellar water is a cleanser/toner/makeup-remover in one. I was most interested in its makeup removing properties, so I decided to test it on a full face of makeup, then follow up with my regular makeup remover wipes to see if anything was left behind. I used it on a cotton pad and I'd say it removed 95% of all makeup - the rest I had to get with a Foreo and cleanser.

I'm impressed! Plus, it was very gentle on my skin. This is a keeper!

beautyfix-june-2016-mask

Danielle Creations Therapeutic Gel Beads Eye Mask - Value $10

The gel mask is designed to be used hot (10 seconds in the microwave) or cold (2 hours in the refrigerator).

beautyfix-june-2016-mask-open

beautyfix-june-2016-mask-velcro

I decided to try it in heated and I liked it! It was really comforting - my only issue is the elastic strap. It was a little tight even at the loosest fitting. (I have the same issues with hats, though, so that probably won't be an issue for most people!)

UPDATE - I forgot this picture for the review!

skyn ICELAND Blemish Dots - Value $5

This blemish dots are clear gel stickers that allow you to target individual blemishes to reduce redness and inflamation. You can wear them for a few hours or even overnight. They are free of any ingredients you might want to avoid (parabens, etc.) and they didn't irritate my skin.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $176! Amazing! I love that everything is either full-sized or deluxe-sized, too! I think BeautyFix almost always delivers a great value compared to the cost, and they did that again this month. If you are looking for a good mix of skincare and haircare products with the occasional beauty item, I highly recommend this box. (I was actually surprised to see no haircare, this month!)

I have a beautyfix question . I tried to sign up for a sub and they said it was sold out and they would let me know when it was available , is that normal and is it as hard to get as the target box?

Does anyone have a coupon code that I can use? I am new to subscription boxes and this one looks amazing! Thanks 🙂

This is a nice box! I think they sent blemish dots from Peter Thomas Roth in the past and I used it a couple of times, but didn’t see significant improvement. I only use it once in a while, but hope this brand works better. The Acne spray sounds terrifying to use per some comments here, but I will try it on my husband’s back. I don’t have cellulite, but I hope I can use it as preventative. All other items are great for me.
I am a micellar water convert! Bye bye wipes! You can use it a few ways: to remove make up (I always double cleanse), to fix make up (like eyes and lips using cotton swab) and cleanse/tone when you don’t want to use cleanser/water in the morning (great for dry winter). The key to effectively remove eye make up is to be patient and leave the cotton pads on your eye lids for a little while (I do 30 seconds) then gently swipe. Even before swiping, you see some eye make up on the cotton pads already. Never stung my eyes. I am excited to try Avene one!

That lip treatment is everything. I’m officially a convert.

Also, I chilled the eye mask in the fridge and it was a lifesaver in the heat and humidity last night. It’s supposed to get even hotter so I may try the freezer tonight!

Just curious, does Beauty Fix ever release spoilers? Just signed up for a subscription starting with this box and already eager to see what’s next! TIA

What is the coupon for $20 off?

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I got an email stating I had 7 days to use a $20 code… I have been a customer for a while… not sure what it was about, but I bought a $35 box for $15.

Chris

Wow! How ever did I not know about this box?
It looks amazing. I signed up.

Sorry to hijack this review…but does anyone know how to find a swapper by their email address?

I accidently unfollowed them and now can’t find a way to add them back.

I like beautyfix a lot. this month I unsubbed because I don’t really need the products for this month. every other box has been great. My opinion is beautyfix is a really exceptional sub

Joanna

Does anyone know where I can find a promo code for this subscription box online?

Kimberli

That acne spray smells like pure rubbing alcohol! I tried to use and just about choked to death. It also got it my eyes and stung. I was using it on my chest. It went straight into the trash.

Reply ButtonReply

Khaleesi

Lol I sprayed my own back instead of waiting to have my hubby do it and ended up inhaling some! It was absolutely awful and I feel like such a dork for inhaling it?

A total home run…. bought a second box 🙂 I would have bought the second box anyhow but they sent me a $20 coupon… SCORE! I had an overflow on the Serum… I am never good with metal tubes, but it is fabulous!

Now it’s back. ?

Not sure why my comment was deleted, but I’ll give it a 2nd try….
Just wanted to say thanks for mentioning the $20 coupon. I had received that a couple of days ago, and had forgotten about. I also cancelled my sub last month, despite it being one of my favorite beauty subs. This box looked great, and I will definitely use everything in the box. I wasn’t experiencing fomo, however I couldn’t resist the opportunity to get this box for $15! ??

Reply ButtonReply

Kristina

Is there a general use coupon, or is it only for someone who gets it through email? I have been dying to try this sub!

Katie

Hey there! Do you know where I would find the $20 off coupon? I would love to try this box!

Jennifer

You are welcome! I adore this box ALWAYS and this one in particular. I was surprised the coupon worked frankly… thrilled though 🙂

Luna

I’m so happy you mentioned about the $20 coupon! I had received that a couple of days ago, and had forgotten about it. I also cancelled my subscription last month, despite this being one of my favorite beauty subs. Even though this box looks great, and I’d use everything in it, I wasn’t experiencing FOMO. However, I can’t pass up the opportunity to get this box for only $15!

Janet

This box always looks great! I have to keep reminding myself of all the products I already have stashed away…

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Do you know when you have to cancel in order to not be charged for August? It says every 30 days but is everyone charged on the same day of the month?

Reply ButtonReply

Paula

This is one of my all time favorite boxes, I have been subbing for years now. This felt like one of the original boxes, all these full size products!! Yay! I will admit, I still miss the old days when they threw in a “gift”. I sometimes received items that had a higher value than the box!

Reply ButtonReply

Tracy

Just signed up for this sub to replace birchbox and Walmart. Looks amazing!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

It’s a great value box – hope you love it! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Joanna

Does anyone know if i sign up for this next week if I’ll start with July or August?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

It depends on whether or not this box sells out. If it is still available next week, this will be your first box, if it isn’t available, you won’t be able to subscribe until the August box is available in August.

Hope that helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Jaime

After seeing this review I bought the July box. I couldn’t resist. But on the beauty fix site the cellulite gel isn’t listed as being included in the box. I hope it’s in there! Can’t wait to get it

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

When I clicked through the link to sign up the cellulite lotion was pictured and listed on the landing page, so I think you should be good! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Jaime

Thanks Liz! I went back and checked it again. I guess I just missed it when I read it the first time. This site is amazing! It’s cost me a lot of money (lol) but I’ve found so many new great subs! It’s so exciting!!!

Caligirl

Now I know why this was my favorite. I resubbed. Bye Bye Birchbox. Allure 1st Beauty fix 2nd. Think Ipsy is next.

Melissa

Allure was a let down this month.

Kris

Great box even though I have no use for the two blemish items. Did anyone else have trouble with the cap for the night serum? After I opened it I couldn’t get the cap back on.

Reply ButtonReply

tpop

At first I couldn’t get it open but I looked at the company’s web site and it explained the unique way it opens and then closes.

Reply ButtonReply

pka58

I sure did. But thankfully I didn’t waste any while I was trying to figure out how to do it without squeezing the tube. Worth the effort, because it’s a great (and expensive product), which I would expect from Dr. H. The cap screws instead of snaps back on, so that’s where I almost broke it, but then I was anxious to use it and didn’t really pay attention. Great Box. This is my favorite box, hands down.

Laura

I thought it was just me! I played with it and it does screw back on.

Sing this like Willie Nelson, y’all: “Of all the subs I’ve loved before, who traveled in and out my door…” Beautyfix is the one I miss the most. 😀 (Allure is my #1 fave, but I still get that one so there’s nothing to miss.) I had to stop this one — along with Ipsy, Boxy, Glossy, Grumpy and Sneezy — simply because of product overload! But man, this looks like a sweet box. Hope you all love it!

Jennifer

Lol! That was funny!

Thought there was a spoiler for blemish dots also.

The blemish dots are in there. If you scroll up to the third image down, you’ll see them tucked in on the far right side of the box. They are also listed on the info. card. Maybe Liz just overlooked featuring them in this review?

Again, Loved this box. The night serum is working extremely well for my skin even though it has a fragrance which usually freaks out my skin. I will purchase it. That’s the 1st item from a box that I am going to purchase. The lip treatment has copper peptides and is working very well also. I am using the cellulite cream on my upper arms, it absorbs nicely. Beautyfix is my favorite. The only improvement would be if it had free shipping/tax whatever adds that couple of dollars to the cost.

Reply ButtonReply

Kara

Great review and terrific box! Liz, do you use the serum alone at night or do you follow with a moisturizer? I haven’t figured out my summer nighttime serum/lotion routines.

Reply ButtonReply

Anita Munoz

I use serum and then a night cream or night moisturizer after cleansing/toning with the Avene Micellar Lotion. I have combo/oily skin which seems to be transitioning to normal as I am now in my early forties and this works for me. I read that using some sort of treatment (serum or retinol cream) then night moisturizer is the best night combo to use to combat signs of aging at any age. Hope that helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Kara

Thanks, Anita! I’ve been experiencing a rash of breakouts this summer – so I’ve struggled with nighttime moisturizers. I feel like this month’s box is perfect to help me through this phase!

Liz Cadman

The first night I tried it, I used just the serum. Since it is practically invisible once it absorbs, I decided to use a lighter night cream after it absorbed moving forward. Hope that helps! 🙂

Kara

Thanks, Liz! My skin gets all sort of crazy in the humid summer weather. I’m really excited about this box because I think I can benefit from all of the products!
