Clips

Q 1

Glitter Hair Clip

This silver glitter clip is so pretty! I love that it adds a nice amount of sparkle to my daughter’s outfit. The glitter is glued on well so it isn’t falling off all over the house which is great too!

Q 2

Lavender Hair Clip

This clip was so interesting because it’s actually made of a thick felt that’s embedded with a tiny bit of sparkle and then wrapped with a gold glitter band. The back edge of this clip was pointy so my daughter said this one hurt when I put it on. The silver glitter clip was more rounded and didn’t have this problem.

Q 5

Pink Leather Bow Headband

Love this little bow headband! It was very stretchy and easy to put my daughter and the bow wasn’t too big which I like.

Q 6

Beige Lace Bow Headband

This headband was made of the same stretchy material and was easy to put on. My daughter’s blonde hair didn’t offer much contrast with this beige lace bow. I think this would look great on dark hair though!

Wraps

Q 3

Mint Bow Head Wrap Headband

I really like these thicker head wrap type headbands. Do they have a special name? If so please let me know! The mint color is very pretty and the bow on top is adorable. This one was a little small for my daughter so it did slide up her head after a while. I’m going to see if I can stretch it out a bit.

Q 4

Printed Head Wrap Headband

Best for last! This head wrap headband is gorgeous. I love the simple knot detail and how it is stylish and unique. The colors are deep and rich and feel like a combo of batik and tie-dye. This one fits perfectly and my daughter found it to be very comfortable.

Verdict: Our BanaBean was a lot of fun to open! My daughter loved all the different hair accessories they sent, especially the headbands.  It is hard to calculate a value for this box because there are no prices given and the clips and headbands didn’t have any manufacturing information that I could look up online. But I ask myself if I would be happy with 6 pretty hair accessories for $25 and the answer is a resounding yes.

$25 for a box is a great deal for 5-6 well-made accessories given many of these brands charge over $5 a bow!

love that we can try it for a $15 discount. that’s an awesome offer!

my daughter is a bit too old but i’m gonna gift to my niece. love the hair confidence tie-in too. seems like an all around lovely brand.

Your daughter is adorable! And the headbands and clips pretty, but $25 is a lot! I get my niece a ton of cute headbands and barrettes from the dollar store or dollar spot at target.

I agree. I get my daughter’s hair stuff at the 99 cent stores in Vegas. They get tons of Goody stock in all the time and we find some really nice accessories there.

This box is super cute though and everything looks well made. My 4 year would be over the moon to get a box of hair goodies just for her.
