Tassel Fringe Keychain- $12.00

This light gray, faux suede, antique brass, tassel key chain was handcrafted with love in Texas. The company, Pink Lemonade originated in 2010 from a 14-year old’s dream to share her passion for fashion and design.

Face Mask - $8.00 for two

This is a multitasking clay mask that purifies, renews and cleanses your skin. The clay mixture had a thick consistency and upon drying on my face the mask became tight and had a strange odor. I couldn’t make out the smell, it sort of reminded me of dried oats. The mask left my skin soft and smooth.

Rio Tote-Coral - $38.00 (currently sold out on website)

This handcrafted canvas tote made in the USA has a 7-inch interior drop pocket and measures at 14"x15"x3" inches with vegetable tanned leather straps. This is the season that tote bags are popping up in subscription boxes and my bag collection is increasing. I need to purge a few of my totes. I adore this tote bag, the design has a cheery, summery vibe and this will be perfect for an everyday tote this summer.

Verdict: The Aster Market July box has a retail value of $58.00. The total retail value falls into the $50.00 price range promised on their webpage. However I was not impressed, in my opinion with this month’s box. There seemed to be something missing. I appreciate how they introduce new companies to their subscribers and how the products are sustainable and handmade, but there was no wow factor.  I’m pleased with the canvas tote, being different than other tote styles I have seen in previous subscription boxes. But the back story of the company who made the keychain was more fascinating than the keychain itself. As always I love facial products and the two single packet clay masks were a win for me.  Overall, I will put the tote bag and masks to use and gift or swap the keychain. (If you are looking for a high-value box, I would not recommend Aster Market).

Really appreciate the honest review 🙂 it’s nice to see a reviewer say the value wasn’t there- because let’s be honest- sometimes it’s not 🙂

I like the tote, very pretty though it’s not really my style. And am I the only one who wants to go slather on a cIay mask now?

Nichelle thanks for the review but especially for the real-time demo. I have received so many pre-formed masks after subscribing to Beauteque I’ve been gifting the rub on/wipe off variety but this one looks like it had some beauty clout; your skin looks quite soft and smooth!

Feeling kind of torn on this box. I’m kind of sick of totes and key chains in boxes, but these are really nice ones and seem to be of good quality in addition to being good-looking. ::shrugs::

I subbed for the first few boxes, but ended up canceling because it always felt like they left an item out……. if you like everything, you break even but if you don’t like one of the items, you’ve lost money. I’ve found it’s cheaper for me to read the reviews and purchase the items i like versus buying the box. They do send quality items, I’m still using the makeup bag and little clay dish from one of the first boxes.

Oh, Nich, you made my morning. That mask photo is awesome. The after shot looks dewy soft! ? Great review.

To me, this box always seems to be missing something for the price. I had only subbed for 2 boxes and tax to NJ brought the amount to $50– LLB, PopSugar, FabFit Fun always seemed to be a better value…
