Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – June 2016

Wantable Accessories is one of several different subscription boxes offered by Wantable, including Wantable Intimates, Style Edit, Fashion Edit, and Makeup. At the beginning of the subscription, you fill out a fairly in-depth questionnaire to customize what you will receive in your box. Wantable also accepts returns on any item you don't like, so you get a retail value as well as "your" price that you will be refunded if you return an item.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Wantable Accessories

The Cost: $40 a month

The Products: Accessories and jewelry based on your profile settings.

Ships to: US, Canada (additional $6), UK (additional $7) and Australia (additional $10)

Here is the invoice of my order with my prices for each item. This is different! The usually show retail prices as well. Maybe they have decided to stop doing that. In any case, if you keep everything, you get a $4 credit for your next box.

This shows my preferences based on the questionnaire I filled out at the beginning of the subscription. You can change your answers at any time, too. They promise to not send you anything you dislike, and to send more of what you love.

Wantable recently introduced a new feature called the "stream." This month they've included a little info card about it. On the stream, you can go and see what other people received in their boxes and request those items in your next box(es) if they are still available. Pretty cool!

Tara Wallet - My Price $12.46

What a pretty wallet, and the color is perfect for summer! I love that it has a zipper pocket inside for change. I can't deal with any wallet that doesn't have a zipper pocket!

Hannah Necklace - My price $7.85

I absolutely adore turquoise and gold together, and this necklace is really pretty! I'm just not sure if that's supposed to be a tooth or a bone. Or neither?

Hammered Arrowhead Drops - My Price $6.92

These earrings are awesome! I love anything with a Native / Western vibe, and these earrings totally fit the bill.

McKenna Necklace - My Price $8.77

This is, of course, my favorite piece in the box! I love the turquoise and red combination, I love the fringe, I love the double chain, I love the Western vibe, and I love the design!

Verdict: I'm really happy, again, with my Wantable Accessories collection this month! I love everything they sent, and I know it will all go to good use. I can't comment much on value this month since they didn't send retail values as they usually do, but I know that these four pieces are definitely worth much more than $40, especially to me! Wantable Accessories is one of the boxes I most look forward to every month!

What do you think of Wantable Accessories? What did you get this month?

Just opened my first box. Top of the list – beige wallet (with no zipper pocket!). Conveniently printed on my Dislike list – wallets. Sigh… But it does have a removable wrist strap so I might keep it. My price is 12.22 and the trouble/cost to mail it back isn’t really worth it to me. The rest: wire earrings with tassels, multi-toned geometric pendant necklace, and wire bracelet with white “marble” stones. I like all these, so I’m generally happy. I know they’re on trend and these are very small, but I’ll likely clip off the earring tassels with my wire cutters – they’ll look fine without. One of the earrings also has a rough place where it looks like the wire got crimped (right where it goes through my ear) but I’m going to try to file it smooth. I have monstrous wrists but the bracelet bent easily to accommodate.

Overall, I’m fine with this box and will hang on several months to see what else I get. This is all cheap enough costume jewelry that I’m okay with changing things up with my jewelry pliers and wire cutters. And the surprise is nice even if I don’t love everything.

I contacted customer service and they are sending a different item to replace the wallet and another set of earrings. It shipped the day they told me this. That’s impressive!

I LOVE my Wantables sub. Have had it about 8 months now and every single piece in every box has been a hit for me. My daughter gets it too so we mix and match and borrow from each other!

Anna so glad you love your box. I would love to see a comparison on what others received based on their preferences for this month. Anyone else get this box? It is so nice to receive a box full of items you will use. In all my years of subs don’t think I ever enjoyed every single item in a box.

Looks like they totally took your style into consideration. I received this once (as a gift to myself) and they gave me exactly what I would have picked out. It was probably the one subscription box (out of quite a few) that truly made me happy.
