The Oxford Trunk is an online boutique that sells very funky ladies’ clothing and accessories. I love their style! Their monthly mystery box gives you a choice among:

* Boho, preppy, girlie, and classic styles
* Large (3-5 items with a retail value of at least $85) or small (1-2 items with a retail value of at least $30, no clothing)
* Pierced ears or non-pierced

This review is of the small boho box for pierced ears.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Just as a note, these are items that The Oxford Trunk does not carry on its website usually, so I don’t have any basis for providing links or retail values usually. I have heard that they send a lot of their sample items, which would make sense, but I have no way of knowing if that’s true or not.

Look at this cute bracelet! I like it a lot, but I already have so many pieces like this. I think I will pass this along to my sister.

At first I thought this was an anklet! That would have been very cool because I have NEVER received an anklet in a subscription box before, and I think they can look amazing if done correctly. Then I tried it on, and it was too big for my ankle, and I have kind of big ankles. So, I realized it must be a very small choker! Chokers are not very flattering on me, though, so I have decided to take out one or two of the pieces and make this an anklet. I love the turquoise, and I absolutely love the design! I think it will make an incredibly funky anklet.

Verdict: I love The Ox Box! This was a strange month, but a good one! The bracelet was very cute and I think my sister will really like it, and I think the choker is going to be an awesome ankle accessory this summer. I don’t know the value of the pieces, so I just have to decide if I think the package was worth $20. This month it definitely was!

What did you get from The Ox Box this month?

  1. Anna, do you know if this auto renews each month? I didn’t find anything about it on their website.

    • From my experience, it is not automatic. You pick a box and style each time.

      • Thanks! I ended up going for it and got the classic box earlier this week. I loved what I got!

      • So every month you have to go online and order your next box?

  2. Love the choker and I agree it would make a great anklet.
