Laneige Water Bank Serum - 10 ml Value $5.80
Laneige has become a staple in Target Beauty Boxes, and I've become a huge fan of the brand because of it! This is a lightly fragranced gel serum, and it absorbs quickly and feels almost invisible on my skin.
Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Crème Rinse - 3.2 oz Value $2.80
Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Shampoo - 3.9 oz Value $2
These are both good sizes for shampoo and conditioner samples! I absolutely love the Shea Moisture conditioner! It has a fabulous tropical scent, and like all Shea Moisture products I've sampled, it is made with natural and organic ingredients, plus free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates!
I'm still on the fence about using haircare products with sulfates in them on my color treated hair, so I'll be donating this sample, but I like the scent! I think it pairs well with the conditioner.
Yes To Cucumbers 10-Count Facial Wipes - Value $3
These makeup remover wipes are a classic to me now thanks to subscription boxes! I've been using them for years, and they are refreshing and gentle - a perfect facial wipe combination!
e.l.f. Lip Kiss Balm in Bare Kiss - FULL SIZE! Value $2
This lip balm gives a hint of color and a good amount of moisture. The pigment is subtle so this is the kind of lip balm you can apply without a mirror!
Swatched in photo below.
Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Duo - 3 g total Value $5.30
I think I was supposed to only get one of these in the box, but I guess two makes up for the fact that each got damaged in shipping! I should be able to repair these somewhat with some rubbing alcohol and letting them reset.
(I realized I didn't get the Cotz item listed on the card, so maybe I was accidentally given two of these instead? Let me know if you got the Cotz item in your box.)
She shades both have a good amount of pigment and shimmer. Swatched below with the lip balm:
L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation in Nude Beige – 0.06 ounce Value $2
I’ve sampled this before, it's pretty impressive for a drugstore foundation.
Here is what the sample looks like out of the packaging:
To apply this foundation, you press the white pad into the foundation-filled sponge and then pat it on your face. I found the coverage to be sheer to medium. (Usually I prefer full coverage, but this worked well for me.) I think this is great for a no-makeup look – it looked so natural on my skin!
The “lumi” part definitely showed in the dewy overall look. On me, that started to look a little oily after a few hours of wear, so I did have to reapply some finishing powder throughout the day.
Soap & Glory Righteous Butter Body Butter - 10 ml Value $.50
I like this body butter! The formula is rich and moisturizing, but it still absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling really soft. I don't mind the fragrance, but I'm not in love with it either.
S. W. Basics Exfoliant - Sample Packet
This cleanser exfoliant is made with just organic oat flour, organic almond flour and sea salt. Like other dry powder exfoliants, you just add a little water to make a paste then apply.
I like the S.W. Basics brand a lot because of their simple ingredients, (they make the BEST lip balm), but I'm not the biggest fan of this exfoliant. I prefer a powder that is more consistently fine like the Tatcha Rice Powder.
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Volume Filler Cream - .5 oz Value $5.90
This is a good sample size for skincare! Here is a look at the sample:
My favorite part about this cream is how soft and smooth it makes my skin feel. You can use it both day and night, and I think it is a great base for applying makeup over, too.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $29.30. I think that's a great value for a $10 beauty box, and I'll use almost everything in this box, so the value is there for me personally, as well. (Honestly, I don't think I've ever been disappointed with a Target Beauty Box!)
