The problem I have with sunscreen samples like this is that we’re supposed to use a LOT of sunscreen to get full coverage. I think the saying is a shot glass full. Almost none of these products are that much judging from the looks of them. That’s a problem I have with expensive sunscreen, to get fully protected it really isn’t worth the price tag since you wouldn’t get many uses out of a thing.

I faithfully use sunscreen daily and would love to try some of these brands. But self-tanner is the one thing in the world I seem to be allergic to… and that’s a sizable tube of St. Tropez. Not sure I want to spend that money knowing I can’t use everything :/

I bought the sun safety kit 2 years ago, took it with me on a cruise, and discovered my allergy to chemical sunscreen.
I wish they would release a kit that is all zinc oxide and titanium dioxide based.

I stopped by and picked it up at a store this morning since I wasn’t going to make the $50 minimum for free shipping. They didn’t have any on display – I had to ask and they pulled it from the back.

Purchased one. Should get me through the summer along with all my other sub box samples. This way I won’t slather on the cheap stuff that my hobby buys. Didn’t see a code for $ off but got some additional samples – men’s cologne. Perfect for above referenced hubby.

Argh, this looks so good! I use sunscreen every day. Wish I could spare $32 right now… Oh well. Does anyone have a money-off coupon code?
Ladies, don’t forget to put sunscreen on your ears!!!

VIBTREAT is a Amore Pacific mini set if you spend $35.00 or more – it just came out on Friday. My email said you had to go through the Sephora app to buy the Sun Safety Kit today. I went though the app and it worked.

I was able to make my purchase online vs. the app (which I don’t use). It shows in my account but I haven’t received the confirmation yet which is a bit odd.

It’s not listed in the Sephora Favorites section on the website and you can’t find it by using the search box. However, Liz’s link does work. I bought two.

I should have clarified: Liz’s link works with Google Chrome and Safari. I don’t know about Internet Explorer.

Sephora waited too long to release this year. I gave up waiting and got a coola set from birchbox. I look forward to these every year i just wish they were always released before mother’s day like they were in the past

I agree with you! They really should have these out by the first of May–earlier if they want to catch the market geographically south.

I don’t even see it on the Sephora site…and I have been searching day and night since May. Maybe some more will show later today.

If you can’t get Liz’s link to work (it worked for me), you can get to it from the Sephora main page by searching by item number (1811876). Searching by name or by going to the Sephora Favorites page doesn’t work. Sneaky, sneaky, Sephora!
Also, you can get a free Urban Decay sample palette of 24 lipstick shades with the code UDVICES if you spend $25, so the Sun Safety kit more than qualifies. 24 shades! Incredible!

If you click through the link that should take you to the kit. Let me know if you have any issues.

I think I’m going to skip this year. Although I use sunscreen every day, a lot of the products are repeats from past years and I found I couldn’t use them on my face because they have chemical sunscreens in them (those tend to give me a rash so I will experiment with them on my arms, but I prefer mineral sunscreens). Also I won’t use the setting spray or self-tanner.

Link doesn’t work for me 🙁

I do not like those setting sprays but everything else looks good. I told myself that I was not going to get this but now that it is available online I am finding it hard to say no. I do use sunscreen every day…..

Me too! It will be great to have all these small packets to stow in the car and my bag. I am always reapplying it during the day.

I wouldn’t store in the car, or any possibly warm/hot place. If they are exposed to sunlight and/or heat they lose their efficacy.
